Recruiting hasn’t been much of an issue imo. Players leaving early for the NBA (with good reason) and getting screwed by admissions in the transfer portal hasn’t helped. Our team would look much different with Terrance Shannon and Caleb Love on the roster this year.
Haven’t decided yet. Don’t care too much about it. Also, can we stop with the little brother stuff? I get it, it used to be funny, but that was when we could back up the shit talking.
Assuming the car is in fact worth 10k...B causes 10k worth of damage, why should they be on the hook for 13k? A suffered a 10k loss, why should they come out ahead and get 13k? A receiving a 10k settlement would make them whole financially... again assuming the car is in fact worth 10k.
Now if A thinks the car is worth more than 10k they could disputed it with proof (comparable vehicles sold in the area recently, not including dealer mark ups) The other option is for A to go through their own carrier and see what they determine the value to be, but it would probably be comparable to B. Most carriers use 3rd party vendors to determine value based on condition, mileage, location...etc.
You don’t understand people that seem to be in torment and misery watching Michigan play. But you used to let Michigan’s play dictate how you felt, which would spiral into depression and you would bitch and complain?
Got a picture with Charles Woodson and 3 bottles of his wine autographed yesterday at the Cascade Meijer. Was only $15.99 a bottle and a 5 minute line.
Really? Nobody from the west side of the state? Willie Snead, Kirk Cousins, David Harris, Joe Staley, Jared Veldheer, Kavon Frazier, Ben Braden and I’m sure a few more from West Mi that have all recently played in the NFL. Also, A LOT more from West MI that have at least played D1.
Yes, the east side of the state produces more talent, but the population on the east side is also much higher than the west side.
This really has to come down to ones preference and specific situation. For me, the first factor would be driving distance. I feel that keeping it less than 1 - 1.5 hrs away would be where I would start. The closer you are the more you’re going to use it. After that, it would be about balancing which location you like the best along with how far your $$$ will go in each location.
Looks like it’s going to rain most of the week. Any ideas on how/if this will impact tailgating at the golf course? If so, when do they typically announce? I’m more of a pioneer guy, but friends want to go to the golf course.
I’ll be at the PSU game and driving from Grand Rapids. I don’t know that I want to drive home after a night game. Looks like all hotels are booked except for A Victory Inn & Suites, which has a few rooms. The reviews suck though. Is it really that bad? Would driving home be a better option than staying there?
He is good enough to go- especially if defense and footwork are the concerns. We’re talking about joining a league where offense is valued much more than defense. He’s not perfect, but neither are most of the other players entering the draft. Also, I’m sure he will have much more time to work on his defense and footwork... and get paid to do it.
His stock will never be higher. POY and just won a national championship. If he has intentions of playing ball after college he should definitely go now even if it won’t be in the NBA.
Is he going to develop more in the G League/overseas or at MSU? Probably the first option. He’s a good college player, but I don’t see much NBA potential whether he stays or goes. If he goes now he is likely going to make an extra 50-100k over his playing career in G League/overseas.
Not thread worthy, but need to vent. Vacationing in the keys with the family and decided to go to Key West today. There was only one cruise ship docked there and it just so happened to be the Ohio State Cruise for cancer cure. While I can definitely get behind that cause, it was so painful to see every other person there dressed in buckeye gear and kind of put a damper on the day. Ok I feel better now!
Also I kind of had dinner with Walt Frazier. Well I sat at the same table right next to him without knowing who he was. Didn't know until afterwards when someone told me who he was. This was a few years ago. I was an intern for the pistons and he was working in media for the Knicks. They always had a dinner/buffet available for employees and the media. He was at a table all by himself and there weren't any other tables open so that's where I sat.
I got married last fall and went with blue suits over tux rental. My groomsmen really appreciated it since they didn't have that color suit already and they got to keep it. I coordinated all of the purchasing and had my groomsmen pay me back. Was able to get suit, shoes, belts, and ties all for about $200 which is how much rental would have cost. Macy's had some crazy deals online around this time last year. Shoes and belts were 50% off and suits were $115 (regularly around $400). The only thing is that ordering standard suits online aren't customizable to the different shapes/sizes of your wedding party. Myself and the rest of my wedding party all had a similar physique so it worked well for us. If you have a guy that's a foot shorter and weighs 100 pounds more than everyone else it probably won't work for you.
Will be missing the game. Was apprehensive about a fall wedding, but was ok with it as long as it wasn't going to be a big game...AND now it turns out to be a big rivalry game. What are the chances??

SeatGeek hit me with $30 fee per ticket, but I was able to find a couple for $67 before the fee. 10 yard line lower bowl.
Not sure how official scores are reported, but that’s what they go off of I would assume.

Hate to be a Debbie downer, but are things really going to look much different in the spring?
Cool Dan
Check out Green Lake in Caledonia. It’s smaller, but water is clear.

7 games into the season. We’re ranked #4 and playing the #1 team tonight. AND you want to talk about next season?
Btw the downvote did make me feel better.

Please don’t turn into this guy parked in front of me right now!
Lavert Hill would like a word with you. Also, this happens at every school. Nothing new here.

No. This is a bad idea.
Basketball team’s version of the Ohio State game. A couple games have been the difference between a great season and a good season.
Pathetic.
Aside from flying into Fort Lauderdale, we’ll being doing exactly that on Saturday.
It’s not intentional if you’re going after the ball. Do you think onside kicks in football should be banned?
Technically, Virgina is still perfect so yes there is a perfect team in nation right now... at least for the next few hours.

Thanks for link and input! I ended up booking a room through Expedia, but cancelled after reading this and will be refunded in full

2. Costco, because that’s where the wife got us a membership from.

Where’s teske at? How do you not have him in there to get a rebound/put back!
The long sleeve half zip up is about as “busy” as I like my clothes.

HUGE liability at the end of any game that’s not a blowout.
Those players that transferred to GRC had to sit out half the year- just like this kid would have done if he didn’t dispute it.
Pretty cool sports bar within walking distance from the stadium.

If 1 and 2 happens then our record is 1-2 against those other 3 teams. OSU and MSU would be 2-1. So will need more than 1 and 2 to happens.
with Charter. Except we get way more channels than that including ESPN, bigten network, fox sports, and HBO.
People can't afford the high premiums.
is tied for 13th on this list...
But not for a long time
