Dude, he walked into broken barn of a basketball program. He told a reporter he nearly panicked when he got a good look at what he got himself into and wanted to renege on his contract. Fortunately, his wife calmed him down and encouraged him to continue and the rest is history.
Sadness. I didn't get to watch the game in real time, instead starting my watch from the DVR around midnight. My son watched it in real time, but I thought it strange he didn't come down and give a comment, especially after we were up 24-7. There was no way we would lose, no way.
This was my mindset a couple months ago; the Lions have improved, but they still had a ways to go to get to the A level. That's changed though; it seemed with every game, the Lions improved. They gained confidence. They proved they belonged.
Coach Campbell has instilled 'Grit' into this team. These guys believe in one another. I think they have a really good chance to beat San Francisco. Definitely a better one than they had a couple months ago.
It would be nice for Coach Moore to have some head coaching experience somewhere. The games that Coach Harbaugh was suspended for don't count. So his first shot in the big chair is at Michigan? Sherrone has a good resume, but this is still a big jump for him. Still, if coach Harbaugh believes he's ready, let's do it.
