I'm actually happy we're going to the BWW bowl with an evenly matched opponent. I've been a Michigan fan for 10 years and I've only seen Michigan win only two bowls in that stretch. We are 7-5 what did you expect? Enjoy it for what it is. A rare chance at a bowl victory and a way to wrap up the season on a positive note.
Dude,
I live very close to Iowa City too and was at the game last year. Im glad someone else noticed too. My hatred for the Hawkeyes is rivaling my hatred for Ohio right now.
I live about five hours from South Bend and I'm thinking of making the drive by myself and finding a scalped ticket that same day. As I am an unmarried minimalist I have a sizeable Michigan budget so ticket prices are not an issue. From my time at michigan I remember scalpers lined up in every other corner around the Big House, is it the same for South Bend? Anyone else going blindly to the game like me?
I also have to travel during the Uconn game. I use a free Iphone app called ShoutCast Radio to listen to world news from foreign radio stations. There's literally hundreds of radio stations available so for the 4rth Ive favorited every Michigan radio station I can find in hopes of listening to the game live for free.
Its a joke on how dumb and lazy "Ann Arbor is a whore" sounds. Its also poking fun at ourselves with the elevated phrasing as Michigan fans are known as a "wine and cheese" crowd. Its my favorite shirt on the Mgostore.
I visit Mgoblog at least once every hour.
When the Tom Brady MacFarlane figures came out I bought four.
My work desk is littered with Michigan paraphernalia.
I brought a picture of Rich Rods buzz cut to the barber once, we have matching hairlines.
I miss Garret Rivas. To name a few.
I work as a salesman in Egypt and I always wear my M gear at work. I rarely get GoBlue’d and my M gear is rarely acknowledged. This one time a hairy nerd took a picture of my sweet laser enhanced Michigan hat thinking I wouldn’t notice. He wasn’t slick.
and I always thought an all right guy until I heard him sound off about mutilating infant's cocks in the Philippines in the name of superstition.
Cocks aside hes still one of the greatest.
Add to that his hilarious f-you attitude. A classic post from him:
"(Rick Leach) Has a ton of credibility with the Retired Left Handed Quarterbacks Association of America (Newfoundland Chapter)."
Lighten up OP.
You were by yourself and completely immersed in the movie. That's how I saw it and I thought it was scary as hell too. When you pay attention to other people comments in the theater, like the OP, that sense of dread will escape you. I think in order to really enjoy a horror movie you have to take it seriously. Srlsy.
I saw this guy walking on Liberty Street on a very early weekday morning 3 years ago. There was no one around me and the entire street was deafeningly silent. I thought I imagined the whole thing due to sleep deprivation and the fact that I turned around after realizing what I saw and noticing he wasn't there anymore. It was months later that a friend related a similar story and it removed all doubt. This dude is real and he is out there somewhere. I hope he isn't too lonely.
I meditate on how lucky I am to have a job and wonder how a blog with mostly links to the Associated Press, Reuters and CNN is considered a "conservative" website. I also indulge in my Iphone apps and then get back to work.
I was going to ask this same question. I hope you can continue doing what you love somewhere down the line. Maybe you can find a niche like Brian Cook did.
Being unemployed was the most depressing time of my life. Luckily with determination and my parents support I was able to pull through.
I have a maize coffee cup with tiny block M's on it that I use as a pen holder. I also have a Yost puck I use as a paper weight, a mouse pad with a block M on it, a huge coffee mug and a button that says "beat Iowa" lying around somewhere. Ive thought of putting the Mcfarlane Tom Brady in there somewhere(i bought three) but Im afraid it might go missing. I try not to draw attention with banners and too much flair since im in the heart of Hawkeye country and things may go missing.

Last time we held an opponent to 3 points or less was the shut out of Notre Dame back in 2007.
I will take a long lunch. The game starts at 11:40 here.

Nice Welsh Corgi
Seeing if Gibbons or Broekhuizen are any good.
Watching Tate play. He was my favorite player last year.
I only saw the second quarter so I'm staying awake late for it. Thanks OP.
