You can't have officals from the same conference so since we play TCU my assumption is either an SEC or ACC ref crew does that game. And if we make it to Georgia/OSU we would have either a Big 12 or ACC crew for that as well.
Maryland has beaten Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota all on the road—where they are 30-4 with 3 of the 4 losses coming to Maryland. And yet they haven’t won at home yet—so weird.
Everyone complaining about Nico but it's Ambry that I am really bummed to lose. He has a very valid reasoning but having Ambry as the #1 and Vincent Gray #2 is a very solid (#2/#3) in the conference kind of group.
It really changes things but for a season like this maybe it will end up being a blessing in disguise. Figure out who will be there next year...
My dad and I were watching the game and had planned on seeing Remember the Titans and bought tickets ahead of time. Because of the high scoring the game went longer than expected and we ended up listening to the last part of the game in the car radio. We pull into the parking lot of the theatre right as Anderson dropped the ball and we figured great we will come out of the movie and listen about the victory and went in to watch the movie none the wiser...little did we know what would happen.
Not sure who the backup QB is in Baltimore but I think that would be an ideal landing spot. Similar offense to what he ran in San Francisco (I believe Roman is the OC) and obviously John Harbaugh can ask Jim what types of stuff.
Just in case of an injury to Lamar Jackson you wouldn't have to overhaul everything.
I agree with the pitching strategy overall--use Criswell in higher leverage situations tonight later in the game or save him for Game 3.
I do think the more important aspects is Michigan's offense. We are trying to save arms (i.e. Kaufmann and Criswell) but at the same time we also want to make Vandy use their good arms in the bullpen so that they aren't as fresh for tomorrow. That means keeping the game close enough and working pitch counts enough to still be in the game during later innings.
I love Walton and he was for sure the biggest reason we made the late season run.
But nobody ever talks about DJ Wilson enough. He was a 1st round pick and allowed us to do what we are hoping Livers can do—put Duncan in a 6th man instant offense role.
He massively improved our defense (sometimes by moving to the 5).
Livers and Poole are the biggest X factors. I think Brooks will improve over time but having athletes like Poole and Livers helps us match up on defense better (without hopefully sacrificing offense).
I have confidence in one of those happening and if both happen look out.
I'm actually curious about the new assistant coaches. Beilein said he is going to delegate more duties so interesting to see how the defense looks (similar to Donlon?).
To me it's not anything to do with their offense.
Yes we have to contain them but Barkley had a monster game against Iowa (caveat that it was at iowa) and they still only scored 21 points.
Against Pitt and Indiana (both not great teams but similar to us) they had 7 total turnovers between the two (4 for Indiana and 3 for Pitt) that gives penn state short fields and keeps the crowd into it.
It really comes down to no turnovers by our offense and keeping the same level of play on special teams and defense. It will be close and I give us a chance to win if we do that (no matter what O'korn does).
If we get Purdue O'Korn I actually expect to win.

It is less crowded then some of the other places and it is just apple picking with rest cider and donuts.
They do have a pumpkin patch and sometimes raspberries too.

I guess where I am confused is how great we were in the red zone last year (top 10) and this year we are close to the bottom.
The line wasn't a strength last year either but did good enough.
I feel like they need to play more to the strengths of our team right now... To me this shouldn't be Perry as the first option (great routes and hands) and then maybe Gentry or TE. And finally I don't remember much Hammering Panda (either goal line runs or routes).
I feel like the runs up the middle and fade routes are too prevalent and ply to our weaknesses.
Just change some of the playcalls (or who the first reads are) and it should be closer to last year...
Like others in the thread I would say 2014 somewhere.
Probably not Notre Dame even though it sucked but the Utah game at home. I stayed after the torrential downpour to watch a game I knew they would lose with mostly Utah fans left in the stands.
Or the Minnesota debacle where I left early in the 4th quarter and missed the concussion fiasco.

I don't know much about Oregon basketball but seeing they have a "backup" like Jordan Bell was huge for them advancing to the Final Four when Chris Boucher went out. Bamba could be the yin to Wagner yang (Wagner more of a shooter and not as great for rebounding/defense).
