I'm always in favor of more accurate rankings within a conference, which I think is accomplished by a more conference heavy schedule.

To me it seems that more conference play will provide for a better conference tournament both in terms of team preparation and proper seeding, which in term is better preparation for the national tournament.

I mean, I think that the comment section provides a place for fans of the blog to offer constructive criticism. This post got some things wrong in my opinion, but still was a nice read and a preview. There's no harm in calling out what errors there might be in the article so that readers get a more accurate picture of what's happening, and it's not like they ripped on the article either - just pointed out errors

Agreed. I don't know if I even see a 2 loss Bama getting left out. They are going to be in the playoff regardless of the outcome of this game. I hope they destroy LSU.

I feel bad wanting to mock him, be he has such a track record of being an outright liar that I just don't know how much I can buy into any news related to his health

I'd love to see Trey dishing out some more assists. He clearly has the handles and the talent to be playing at this level, but if he can become a little more threat moving the ball around the court, he could explode this season

Blake was pisssssed at him…

Blake was pisssssed at him after the game ended and in his post-game interview. I'd love to see GRIII do great things for the Pistons, but it looked like his failure to foul on that last shot was a pretty drastic failure to execute on his part.

Walters has already accepted

Walters has already accepted at Nebraska and won a major award as the top coordinator this year. He's likely to stick with Frost for another year or two and then head toward head coaching himself I would imagine

hoooooo-weeeeee, KC Keeler at

hoooooo-weeeeee, KC Keeler at Sam Houston State would be a cool find

He's only makes 250K at the moment, we could offer much more, he developed Joe Flacco at Delaware, and then turned Sam Houston State into an offensive juggernaut

Maybe a little out there

What about Ken Wisenhunt?

The Chargers aren't about to take leaps and bounds forward with Rivers nearing the end of his career, and he has a proven track record of invigorating offenses and is an innovator -- just a thought from the NFL side of possible hires!

Yeah, to be honest, that's

Yeah, to be honest, that's where most of my excitement lies in these possible transfers... bolstering up our O-Line would be so nice

They called at least one on They called at least one on us, can’t remember when it was, but it took us back to the seven yard line.
I mean, i gotta wish Brady I mean, i gotta wish Brady Hoke the best. He was incompetent as our head coach, but he seems like a genuinely good guy, and I hope he succeeds in the interim period
So, checking in on 24/7,

So, checking in on 24/7, we're sitting on 75% CB for Logan Brown, is there something I missing there? I assume that Ace knows what he's talking about Wisconsin having an early push, but that seems like a little more than picking up some steam for us

I don't understand that line

I don't understand that line of thinking either -- maybe the what if is, "what if he didn't injure his ulnar nerve"?

Additionally, if you've

Additionally, if you've been around our campus, you've seen a healthy number of our football players driving around nice vehicles as well.

Maybe the culture and breadth of the extravagence isn't so brazen as what we're seeing in this post but there are still lots of football players in nice cars at Michigan for any number of reasons, legit or not...

OT but...

OT but.... how are we celebrating when you get to 109901 MGoPoints?

Official WD Nike merch?

Some kind of guild and reset your points to 0 until you level up?

The possibilities are endless...

Home fans

I'm not thinking of home fans here. I just think it would completely eliminate travelling for away teams. If you are a Michigan fan who lives in New Jersey, are you really going to want to wait until the results of a late game on Saturday to find out whether or not you're going to be playing Michigan next week at Rutgers so you can see the game? Or would you want to be able to buy that ticket months in advance?

Well if

Well if I'd bought tickets in advance this year I would have been PISSED (even though it was a fun and good game, seeing the 3rd and 4th best teams in the conference play for the championship gets me all riled up). And that's why I didn't buy tickets, because I didn't know who it would be.

Planning

The reason nothing like this will ever happen is that people plan to travel based on games, so schedules have to be locked down before the season starts. Imagine if you're a player from Purdue and your family wants to all come support your shallacking of the Boilermakers in Ann Arbor -- how are they gonna plan for it if they can't start before the season? (At least that how my family's planning works)

GRIII

So LaVert and GRIII were both in this game, and honestly, I feel weird seeing GRIII in starting role with the Pacers and yet feeling no connection to him.

He's gotten decent playing time, and I know he was an important part of that freshman class, but I never felt like he really wanted anything more than to get some playing time and declare for the draft when he was here.

Chuck is a must

Chuck is a must if we hope to pan out in 2018-2019. I know that's looking ahead, but lets be honest, most OL are gonna see a redshirt year, and we really need to build up our OL depth.

A few Spartans lining the

A few Spartans lining the sidewalks outside the big house last year throwing bottles and spiting on Michigan fans. It wasn't a ton of them, but a few, and I was just so upset.

Put the ball at the 50 and

Put the ball at the 50 and start the entire roster of each team in opposing end zones blindfolded, the first team to get the ball to the other side of the field without passing the ball forward or kicking it wins. No downs. No stoppage of play.

I love that you can see the

I love that you can see the moment on that Jet Sweep when McDoom puts on his "I ran track, here is my running track form for maximum speed" hat

He's gonna be such a special player!

Well, that feels like

Well, that feels like somewhat of a cop-out to me.

If we really want to be the Leaders and the Best, I would hope that we can compete as the best school in turning out leaders with integrity and success both on and off the field, and that starts with the recruitment of players. If you disagree with that, that's okay, but for me that's paramount.

I would be extremely disappointed if we had to start justifying the same kind of lies that programs like Alabama and Ole Miss sell to their players and supporters.

Roster Space

So I'm excited for Paye, but I have such a fear that we're going to move into the greyshirt Alabama world of recruiting.

I trust that the coaches know the players that will fit best into our system, but this is our 18th Commit.

What happens if we hit on half of the remaining targets? Wilson, Wills, DPJ, Martin, Collins, Filiaga, a possible flip of Leatherwood or Harris, Tufele, Ruiz, Browning, Holmes, Tufele, Ambry Thomas, Singleton, Kelly-Powell, Akers, (and more... ).

Do we have room in this class for 30 players? I despise the idea of becoming a school that doesn't honor its offers and commitments to players.

I guess I just have no idea what kind of room we're working with for this next year. Anyone have some insight on that or know where I could find good resources to see those numbers?

Implications for Other Prospects?

What does this say about NSD players?

Are we about to lose out on Onwenu and Hill?

Kill me now.
