If you want a beautiful uncrowded place in the Sierra, I highly recommend the area of Shaver Lake, Huntington Lake & Edison Lake. Be sure to go to White Bark Point vista at the top of Kaiser Pass. Thank me later
South of Yosemite, in Oakhurst, eat at Erna's Elderberry House. You can also stay at the Chateau du Sureau. Your kids may not appreciate it, but your wife will love it.
I watched that 2017 Nike EYBL LA video and wondered who that point guard was that was making those great passes to Brandon Johns. Then I got to the Johns and Tyger Campbell single-game highlights video. Too bad Tyger Campbell is going to DePaul, they looked great together.
I recieved my degrees in Civil with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering. I also took a fair amount of Geology courses. I choose the consulting engineering route upon graduation. Environmental Engineering was in it's infancy, but companies with groundwater contamination problems needed to install monitoring wells in order to assess the extent of their problem and Geotechnical Engineers knew how to do that. Many of the Geotechnical Engineering companies blossomed into Environmental consultants in order to then remediate these problems. In it's hayday clients would call up and practically beg you to work for them. The field is more mature and competitive now. In my opinion, a Masters degree is highly desirable for work in the Environmental consultantancy field.
Schembechler's 1975 staff included Jerry Hanlon (front left), Tirrel Burton (front, third from left), Jack Harbaugh (back middle) and Gary Moeller (back, second from right).
It's interesting to see the change in Gerdeman's attitude as the season progressed. He started out with a pretty cavalier attitude about Michigan; obviously believing OSU would steamroll in Columbus. That attitude has definately changed with each progressive Michigan beatdown (and an OSU loss to PSU).
I was driving slowly through a residential neighborhood when another teenager came speeding around a corner through a stop sign while I was in the intersection. He slammed on the brakes and slid through the intersection sideways. I thought sure I was going to get creamed, but I gave the little bike as much gas as I could and he must have missed my back tire by a hair. I was so shaken that I couldn't even stop to yell at him after he came to a stop sideways on the opposite side of the intersection. That was almost 50 years ago and I can still see it in my mind.
