I’m not in the fire Don Brown crowd.. but I also wouldn’t be sad to see him go. He’s done some good, some very good. But the last two years against osu has been a joke. Recruiting is on him too, so you can’t let him off the hook because of our small DT’s.
I’ve written and directed two short films that have screened at film festivals in New York and in Ohio. Maybe next I’ll film a documentary about this blogs descent into madness.
To be fair, some guys are better as coordinators than as head coaches. It’s not absurd to think Strong could still coach defense if that were his only responsibility.
There were a lot. It’s not just that red stands out, there were too many osu fans for that to be considered a hostel road environment. It was an embarrassment.
The Pac12 had USC at their peak and Pete Carol was basically the nick saban of collage football at that time. Jim beat #1 USC with a 4 win Stanford team that was a 41 point dog, and went on to go 3-1 against Carol.
It was embarrassing. I had an osu fan sitting behind me, who was laughing at the amount of osu fans at the game, and remarked that would never happen to their stadium. I don’t care if we’ve had our shit kicked in for 15 years, you have a top 15 team playing the #1 team in the country, fans need to show up and rock the stadium. I will say the Michigan fans that did show up were loud and into it before it got out of hand. Except for one lady behind me that complained and told me to sit down on a crucial 3rd down play when we were on defense and it was still 14-13.. people like that shouldn’t attend college football games.
I’ve never been. Would love to go if I could get my schedule worked out that I could make the make the trip for the day. What can be expected if I go? How long does It typically last? Do any former players / coaches take part? Or is it mainly students / alumni/ fans?
OSU is going to get their points. But I think our O is playing good enough that we can keep up with them, and get in a 2013 style shootout. Hopefully we can make enough plays to get the W this time!
Good performance. Started shakey, made nice adjustments and shut them down before some garbage time yards. Much better than last year’s game against Indy.

I’m tired of the jay harbaugh hate. Higdon becomes our first 1000 yard rusher since 2011 last year. This year ZC sets the freshmen record for rushing td’s while also being outstanding in pass pro.. and Hassan has far exceeded expectations. In one of the biggest wins of the Harbaugh era we rush for over 300 yards, but we don’t don’t have a good rb coach, got it.
So Michigan has won their last two games by a combined score of 83-21, including dismantling a top 10 ranked rival... and these are the type of posts we get on a bye weekend?
I don’t think Mork’s pride will allow him to “step down” if he loses to Michigan. Even if it’s a saving face move, state will have to fire him to get rid of his ass.
I don’t believe they’re a top 5 team, but they’re definitely a top 10 team. 8-0 with wins over #14 and #18 in the country, and a very good defense that has allowed over 20 points only once all year. I agree. It should be noted tho that Tim Drevno held the OC title during those years. So Jedd never had the full keys to the offense in the way that Gattis does. But your overall point is true, if jedd was as good as some believe, I think he’d have a better job right now.
Last week, I had a dream it was The Game. Michigan-OSU. Michigan played 4 QB’s, I didn’t know any of their names. One of them literally drove a car onto the field to pick up a first down. David Schwimmer from the hit sitcom “Friends” was playing corner for the Buckeyes. Michigan led 12-9 in the 4th qtr, when schwimmer picked off a pass for the bucks, and everyone in the stadium thought ‘ oh no! here we go again’ but when he leaned over a couch to brag to his friends about his big play, a wolverine ran up tipped the ball from his hands and snatched it away. Michigan went on to win 11-4.
All week we will hear about Harbaugh’s record.. 0-7 as an underdog, 1-9 vs top 10 teams. Can’t win on the road. PSU will be built up by the media as OSU lite, despite ugly wins over Pitt and Iowa where their offense was slowed. I think it’s all setting up for a huge Michigan upset, and a long awaited signature win for Jimmy to finally silence his critics ( at least until November)
