Gary Moeller should be on this list. It was his team that won the 97 chip... les miles destroyed a great coaching career for Mo.. He was also a fantastic interim coach for the lions.

Signing Day is not a deadline. I belive players have until April 1st to sign with a school. NSD has become more of a media event than anything. So if these players are really not "plan b" guys, they will have no problem finding a fantastic landing spot. So while I may disagrre with the way the staff has been going about certain things, "dragging kids along until near the deadline" is really a non issue.
I rarely log in to post comments...but this is what's wrong with sports: "Sources say that senior network executives as high up as ESPN President John Skipper are pushing for the change as a way to get better television ratings". Sad, really...
I didnt realize the coaches or players owed you an apology. I had the option of turning the channel last night but didnt. You should contact your sat/cable provider and let them know that you are interested in upgrading your package to "not just espn."
Obviously all of the "vets" to this site can tell by my point total that I don't log in to comment a whole lot... But the earlier rant kind of got to me a bit. This is a very good, young basketball team that will improve. I love this college and its athletics with everything I have, but I have learned to temper that quite a bit as I improved as an adult. I remember sobbing and banging my fists on the floor of my living room for over an hour at 14 YEARS OLD when we lost to Colorado by a miracle throw. Fast forward to now when i merely laughed sarcasticly and kicked a beer can across the room when Wisc hit a miracle half court shot. These things happen. I find peace now knowing that this university's athletics have provided so much success that its missteps while devastating, only come due to past and (hopefully) future glory. Its just a game folks. And we win a hell of alot more than we lose. Others should be so lucky. GO BLUE!
Time to get behind the one man who actually wanted to come here in the first place... It is, was and will be his dream job (and we can probably afford him). The football program brings in 150+ million a year and they wont spend anything to get Harbaugh or miles here. thewolverinie.com reports that had we offered JH 5.2 mil as was falesly reported, he would be here... SHOW THEM THE MONEY!!! Or expect to be the new indiana/minnesota...
Is Ashton Kutcher hiding somewhere at the press conference? Maybe he runs out just before the 9ers GM starts swearing/crying and tells him Jim is in AA....Please?
