There is a reason Saban wants him. That reason is because of his recruiting... not that Alabama needs help there, but it weakens Michigan with what Partridge has done in the south. He's been loyal to Harbaugh, so let's hope it stays that way.

The better question for all those concerned with Scott is this... What if we lost out on David Long or Hill because we stayed committed to Scott only for Scott to switch on signing day? Most of you would curse Scotts name in everyway imaginable even though he made the best decision for him. Harbaugh is making the decision he feels is best for Michigan. That is a very real scenario that happens to programs every year. I agree, it sucks... but if the coaches do not know for sure if they are getting Long or Hill then obviously they want to keep Scott. Not saying anything to him in a sense is an indicator for him that he should be looking around incase things fall through. If that bothers you than you really shouldn't follow recruiting. You will be bothered a lot.
