Same AAU team as Taylor Battle from penn st. and Jimmer Fredette. Battle and Fredette played together. Now that is a crazy team in relatively talent poor Albany NY.
Former Michigan offensive lineman Harold Goodwin is the offensive line/ offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals. I'd like to see them make a run at him.
My question is what is the no show percentage for non-student season ticket holders. When I was a student a couple years ago, for the bad games the student section was the only one filled up with empty seats in droves in all other sections. I would love to see a perentage for the non-student ticket holder and see if it is any better. I would love to see the response if this policy was inacted for everyone.
For any of you looking to go to the Michigan Lacrosse game at Citi Field, I am able to get you discounted tickets as a Mets employee. Shoot me an email at [email protected] and I can send you the link to get your discount.
I don't get why people are so upset about the rankings put out by the coaches. I watched the ESPN coverage of the Elite 11 last season and the whole time it was Dilfer trying to mess with the kids heads to see how they reacted. I think this is what is going on here. We will see who is selected into the Elite 11 but I will be very surprised if Shane is not one of them.
From the sports law class I took at Michigan my understanding is that it is actually a little more complex. Since it would seem obvious that both the current players and owners would agree on a rookie pay, there is more to it. As a union legally they have to negotiate in the best interest of current and future employees. Therefore the NFLPA can't just be like well the current players would like a pay scale to get them more money therefore its fine if the rookies get less. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that would be an antitrust violation and there could be law suits and the likes.
As a huge Yankees and Derek Jeter fan, I just read the new Jeter biography and it give a lot of incite into his decision between Michigan and the pros. In the end the Michigan baseball coach at the time (don't remember his name) told him that he should go pro. Jeter was one of the most pro ready high schoolers of our era and obviously made the right choice, as can be seen from his amazing career. Plus in his autobiography (which was awful) that came out a while ago, he said he always intended to get his Michigan degree at some point which I have no idea if he has done yet but I'm assuming not. Derek Jeter is a Michigan man.
I went to all of the games last year as a Junior. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it to every big football fan.
And i agree that buying them through the ticket office is the way to go. I got all of them from there and got to sit in the Michigan section for each game was a lot of fun.
It helped me a lot that I either knew someone at the other school or they had a chapter of my fraternity where i could stay. Having someone to show you the ropes of the school makes the trips a lot more fun. Go for it!

You would have gotten me, however, Gregg Williams is the DC for the Rams. He left the Saints before this all came out.
@Kugleybear57With every great decision you make for yourself you look like a dick to most people
#IhateitI feel the same way about Boston sports. Can't stand any of them.
Finally broke this one open a little bit. Yankees looking good!
but in a Page 2 article/flowchart they call TP the dogs of society. Link
Pretty funny flow chart but I found that especially entertaining.

This is so true. I have been to 8 away games over my 4 years at Michigan and this was by far the worst gameday experience. Awful.
