I am late to this thread, but I would definitely take lessons for a couple days. Sounds like you do not have a ton of experience and the folks who will give you these lessons make it super easy to understand what you need to do to learn.
Yes, you will be sore, but it is worth it. Don't let others tell you to ski if you prefer to learn to snowboard. If you want to snowboard then skiing is the easy way out, challenge yourself and you will be rewarded! You may find it more fun even though the learning curve is bigger. There is something very freeing about snowboarding.
If you aren't falling, you aren't trying! It may sound weird, but learning on a bigger or steeper hill is better. Learning on flatter "greens" makes it easier to catch an edge where carrying some (not a lot) of speed makes edge transition easier. Hoping the conditions are great for you!
I dont get why Hartline doesnt get a lot of attention. I thought he would have been a homerun hire for MSU. One that would have made me think MSU might be frisky in a few years.
Would love to buy a HydroStream Viper. They are 15ft speed boats. Nostalgic for me, my dad had one when I was a kid. They look cool but are not practical. Price wise they are quite affordable if you can find one though.
In all reality, I would love to buy a deck boat. Holds a good amount of people comfortably, and you can use it to ski/tube and cruise faster than our pontoon.
Personality wise Baker is a fit, but to commit that much cap to a QB who isn't top tier doesnt make sense. Based on what the lions have done draft and free agency wise I think they are looking to build the team up from the inside out.
Get a QB in the draft in the next year or two, and not have to use a ton of cap on one as they build. Somewhat like what the Seahawks did when they were competing for titles.
Was hoping the first post of these interviews wasn’t removed. I get it that Lewan and Barstool aren’t well liked in these parts, but the interviews offered a different view of the players/coaches they spoke to.
Just got word from a breeder we have been communicating with for almost a year that they have a pup for us. Super excited to have a doggo again. So puppy training and traveling up north to the family cottage will be the main parts to our summer. Also hopefully a lot of golf.
Have a place on Intermediate Lake (near Torch and Elk Lake) that area in general is pretty nice. Intermediate isn’t as clear as Torch but far less busy even on holidays it is pretty tame.
Close to both Boyne and Shanty Creek resorts if you ski/snowboard in the winter too. We use the place year round!
I would be cautious on who you buy in with though. Have heard horror stories on that front..
I mean Partridge hasn’t been a coordinator but has been an assistant for most 5(?) years now. Players love him. Need a leader and person people can get behind to be a HC. I believe there are better options than Partridge for UM, but just wanted to hear others thoughts.
Too soon? Seems like a guy who will be a HC soon. Would help keep the recruiting classes together since he had some hand in both 2021 and probably 2022
Doesn’t sound like he battled COVID that long if you read the article. He put on weight during quarantine then got sick with COVID,then got strep which kept him out even longer to get back in shape. Not discounting the disease, I’m sure his immune system was weakened but he’s gonna be ok.

A late sleeper I have seen is Desean Jackson seems to fall. Could be a boom or bust flex option now that he is back with Philly.
Mark Ingram is getting drafted in the later rounds but is the starting back for Baltimore who is super run heavy.
Kareem Hunt is suspended for a chunk of the season but should be considered a late pickup. Especially for a playoff push. He will have fresh legs.
Josh Gordon is back. He will go semi early 4-6 round but he is a monster when not high.
I definitely agree with OP that Curtis Samuel should have a solid year. Miles Sanders is interesting with Jordan Howard there. Will probably put up more numbers as the season goes on.
DJ Moore could also have a solid season for Carolina?
Drove from Michigan down to Tampa for a cruise in August a few years ago with 4 other buddies in an older Tahoe with 350k+ miles. Got down there fine, had a good time. On our way home a few hours out of Tampa the Tahoe started on fire.
We put the fire out and had the car checked out. The AC shorted out and caused the fire, so the car was drivable just no AC. So we got to drive in 90-100 degree weather back to Michigan. That ended up being the most memorable part of the trip.
Drake Harris and Keith Nichol were highly rated recruits out of high school. Harris didn't end up doing much. Nichol will be remembered for the hail mary catch against Wisconsin forever at MSU though..
Might not have a ton of D-1 talent, but Muskegon, Rockford, and Lowell on the West Side typically have strong programs with deep playoff runs every year.
