This is an honest question: in this day and age, why do we allow referees to have such immense impact on the games? The Harrell Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty for example. Why isn't the a referee in the booth that can review ANYTHING on video and overrule the on-field ref? If it's a headcount/$$ issue, remove someone from the field and have the ref in the booth assume those duties as well!
The first name that comes to mind for me is Spencer Rattler. He was super highly rated recruit, would've gotten big money to go to Oklahoma. He didn't pan out, so then what? He just leaves? They pay him that money to be backup? Seems like a couple of these misses and a school will stop paying high sums to unproven high schoolers
My gosh, Ham, this is an excellent take. The downfield throwing is super painful, and the better teams at the tail end of the schedule will take advantage
I actually agree with this. #12 is a great 'game manager,' but that doesn't beat MSU/PSU/OSU. Simply put, far too many misthrows, especially on the deep balls! It seems like WRs are getting behind the defense often, only to look up to a underthrown/overthrown ball. The clean pocket pass to a wide open #5 comes to mind. Receiver made the diving catch, but that needs to be a walk in TD. A couple plays later, QB falls down on the handoff from the 1 yard line, and we settle for a field goal instead of TD, costing us 4points...
Sure #9 will make mistakes and have a learning curve, but he has also shown that he can hit the deep ball in stride. More positive game-changing plays than negative ones.
Urban mentioned that UM has completed ZERO deep balls in the first two games. It appears his deep ball is always overthrown? Also, the WRs have a tough time catching his ball - maybe too much velocity?
But they don’t make the line based on what they think the final score will be. The oddsmakers create a line that they believe will draw even action on both sides. Then the casino collects the vig and doesn’t care about the outcome.
No. you can't put MICH over OSU. They played head to head and OSU won. CLEM also deserves the #3 for beating FSU and LOU. The only debate is if UW or UM is "one of the four best teams."
I think we need Peppers up near the LOS. McCray and Gedeon are just not fast enough to stop anything to the outside. Jabrill is. He will do the most good preventing the east-west plays that OSU will heavily lean on

Would it be crazy to think Hausmann should see more playing time than Barrett?

You gotta be kidding! #12 limits the offense; #9 gives it firepower
My biggest fear is that we don't go all in on the right QB, and instead split time between the both of them.

I agree that there is a still a lot of work to do. I disagree that it's the defense that needs the work :)
He was responsible for knocking the two most important WISC players out of the game, yeah? Mertz and Ferguson, both clean, aggressive hits!

I had Michigan to win the B1G Championship game.
$2,500 bet to win $11,250.
Darn.
LSU with 3 players on the defense? Miss me with that bullshit....
+1 spot on
Shea visibly upset after having to throw it away. Looks to be on the LT on that specific play.
Last drive of the half was tough for #75
Peters might not be the backup qb....Or the 3rd string..... too early to speculate re: mcCaffery and Milton!
If LOYCHI wins, I win my bracket for a couple thousand dollar payoff. HOWEVER..... go blue!
Where is the spot in SW Florida?!?! Naples / Fort Myers area....
Miss me with that bullshit.
Cmon man. We are far from CFP

Maybe if the gunner in motion does not get picked up by a defender, he will be open for an easy toss and 1st down .
That’s a good one.
8pm kickoff in East Lansing. I'd bet the bank on the Spartans
That's the "Netflix sound." It plays when you start up the platform :)
Greedy.
It's hard to watch Lee Corso stumble through every sentence.
Michigan has lost 3 out of their last 4, man....

Such a talented defense. Hopefully we can find a back door into the CFP, or else this season will feel ...... wasted.

It's hard to have a high turnover rate when opponents are going 3&out so often.
