Although he's being a little too blunt about it, I can't say I disagree.

Gary

Bosa may be better at racking up stats, but Gary will be the better player. Gary will dominate all aspects of the position, but will have to compete with many other players for the sack. Watching him last year it looked like he couldve had about 10 sacks in limited play, but it seemed like someone would just barely beat him to the QB every time. Plays where the QB wouldve been sacked either way but another wolverine was just a step ahead of him. This year could be simular, but with more PT. Hes gonna have to compete with Hurst, Winovich, and whichever LB they blitz.

Not my worst, but def the coolest. Broke my finger playing football. My finger was bent sideways at a 60 degree angle. I straightened it myself and kept playing thinking it was just dislocated. Eventually got an x-ray and the bone was crumbled at my second joint. Metal pins held it in place for 2 months so it could heal.

I agree its too late to switch at this point. I just remember them doing it in '05 to play to their strengths and this year seemed like it would work too. rotate our 3 & 5 techs at the end position. Hurst, Poggi, Wormley, and Godin seem like they would fit in at DE in a 3-4 scheme. Make our rush ends stand up, and keep our NTs as is. In any formation its always going to come down to taking on and beating blockers to make the play.

get the most talent on the field.

Not permanent. Just until our young D-lineman add some weight and strength. I think Bolden, Ryan, Morgan, Ross, and Gedeon are good enough to start on most B1G teams. Plus Clark, Taco, and Mario could stand up at LB to rush.

3-4

Why dont we switch to a 3-4 until our DL gets better. Seems like were incredibly deep at LB and lacking on the DL due to size (which is due to youth) and production. I believe we did that in 2005.

He did have a spectacular double covered catch in his first 7on7 game.

Hietzman

He has a jake Ryan type of motor at a position that is set up for TFLs.

Braylon was good until his

Braylon was good until his 2nd major injury. I'd say he proved he was as good as his hype, just unlucky the way his career went with 2 knee injuries, staff infection, and never even had a good QB throwing him the ball and still managed to make plays.

Which one is it?

The coach? The WR? Or the Safety?

Agreed

I don't think the loss of Ryan will effect the number of games won/loss due to good depth. Where if Gardner went down it would absolutely effect the number of games won/loss.

Assume Ross at WLB and Morgan at MLB

Shift Bolden to Sam? Or move either Beyer or Clark to Sam? Gordon will start but there needs to be rotation. can't expect McCray to step in right? Thoughts? We do have good depth here at least.

Avenged Sevenfold

Hmmmm

I can see why he left. Mattison and Hoke both debuted and DL coaches. They coached up our DL while Montgomery watched and learned. He probably felt like an apprentice to them, which is a good thing of course. But he probably thought it was time to coach a DL of his own, and Oklahoma is a good school to coach at. He will be missed as a recruiter, as I hear he was a great one, more than as a coach. I would love to see Wheatley join the coaches, but he can only coach what he's qualified to coach, which is not DL. So unless there is some shuffling around, I dont see him getting an opportuninty right away. His kid looks like hes going to be a beast. If we hired Ty im sure his kid would follow. Are there any Michigan men out there coaching DL somewhere? Or who do we think the candidates will be?

Now there is a big difference

Now there is a big difference between ceiling (potential) and predictions, before people start getting all crazy.

Ceiling - I think he has the physical tools and the ability to be a top 15 pick, all-B1G, all-american. He is 6'4'' 210lbs, with an NFL arm. He is a long strider who can will be able to outrun most defenders. His accuracy is off at times, but overall I think he has good accuracy. He has the ability to throw on the run, and has great pocket presence. Not to Denard bash, but those are all things that he couldnt do. His decison making is progressing, he sometimes forces throws, but overall is good enough for the college level. I think the progression of his descion making is what will determine his draft status. He reminds me of Vince Young, lets hope he can copy his college succuss, but translate to the NFL alot better.

Prediction - I think he will continue where he left off last season. He will keep putting up good stats and winning games. If he stays healthy, there isnt a game next year were not capable of winning. I would be dissapointed if we were worse than 10-2. He will improve, but I dont predict him to hit his cieling. I think if he didnt improve, he was good enough to be a 3rd-4th round pick. But by the time he enters the draft I expect him to have improved enough to be a 1st-2nd round pick.

Didn't stop him from being a

Didn't stop him from being a RB, right?

Play RB

I still think he should be a change of pace back. He pretty much been a RB these last 4 years, and looked great there at the outback bowl. Yes he's always banged up, but he's never had any bad injury. He could handle 10 carries a game. I can see him be used like J. Rodgers in Atlanta. He has been such a great runner in college. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

Not only is Barnum gone, but he was pretty bad

Yeah

I believe him and believe its possible to be a fan of both. I'm a die hard michigan fan and have always rooted for UofM over msu. However growing up, before msu ever had the ability to compete with us, I always rooted for them outside of the game against us. Like hart said, they're our little brothers, we want to see them do well, but never let them beat us. A lot of the reason why msu fans hate us so much is because we can find a way to root for them.

1. I wouldn't even worry

1. I wouldn't even worry about it unless he was good enough to play college. And at that point he's gone so far and has a full ride, that there's a slim chance he wouldn't want to play anymore.

2. I believe they can keep it safe and not change the game too much.

3. Make the "strike zone" part of the rules. Strike zone being above the knees, below the shoulders. And obviously you can't lead with your helmet. Pretty much that's making "fundamental tackling" the rule. You can't leave your feet to tackle, unless diving to make a shoe string tackle. That takes glamour out of defense that everyone has loved and endorsed for so long. But I believe that would solve most problems just with that little bit.

Lions

Milliner. Secondary is our primary need, OL a close second. I feel like its easier to find OL later in the draft, rather than secondary. I like what "his dudeness" said about taking a chance on honey badger. Even though we don't need more off field issues.

OT

Has Lou Holtz been on TV since ND lost? He went off on a co-analyze before the game for not thinking ND would win... Looks even more old, stupid, and ignorant now than he did before if that's even possible

I doubt he leaves....
