I didn't want any Rose Bowl gear, knowing that we were playing for the Natty and I wanted gear that said "National Champions" vs "Rose Bowl Champions".
Just bought a Rose Bowl Champ shirt yesterday because a.) they're marked down, and more importantly, b.) It represents our win in "The Granddaddy Of Them All" AND Sabin's retirement party.
And, since the National Championship game next year isn't played until Jan 20, 2025, and because 2024 is a leap year, we will be National Champions for longer than any team ever has been.
I’ve watched Rod Moore’s interception over 100 times. What I’m still smh about is MHJ’s total lack of effort to either adjust to catch an under thrown pass or to at least try to prevent an INT. He simply gives up, takes his eyes off the ball and watches Moore’s diving catch, then falls over Moore’s legs.
And yet that behavior still got invited to the NY Athl. Club and is discussed as an early first round pick… A ton of talent, but heart???

Our first dog Emily won multiple blue ribbons at dog frisbee events. If only we didn’t live in Connecticut she would have been an awesome addition to A2 halftimes, as seen above.

My avatar is Holly when she was about 8 mos. old. That pic was taken in front of Community High School, just south of Zingerman's and across the street from the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market.
She just turned 12. The jersey still fits her, and she has proudly worn it for many games. After "shake", the next thing I taught her was "High Five", and we've been doing a lot of those over the past couple of seasons.
Two repaired ACL's, cancer surgery, ear hematomas, and enough vet bills to have put her through UM (even with out-of-state tuition). We've moved to Texas, so she's enjoying laying by the pool more than she ever enjoyed lingering out in the snow of Michigan. But she runs the beach in Mackinaw City every summer, and she'll one day join Emily and Chloe, who's ashes are buried underneath the tree by the beach that they all loved to run.
I knew I'd need a kleenex or two when I saw the title... and, if there ain't dogs, it's the wrong Heaven.
Sparty wifey and me love our sleep number so much we got a second for the guest room. No need for the fancy adjustable frame. And (no politics here...just a recommendation) a MyPillow will change your life. Giza Dream sheets too.
