Can someone explain to me why all these fucking losers are posting in heavy ebonics? Who is doing this? What kind of needy fucking loser has so little of a life that they make fake accounts to comments with ebonics? How little must such a person have had their genitals touched by a member of the opposite (or same if you are into that) sex in their life? Jesus.

Whoever you are please stop doing this. If you don't like Michigan and are trying to get under the skin of the people who post here, find another way of doing it. Pretending to be a black person and mimicking this minstrel show dialect is really ugly. It's racist and cruel and just plain stupid. Find another way to be funny or annoying, because this sort of thing is demeaning to everybody.

Post a picture of yourself with timestamp on imgur if you're actually black (even blur your face if you want), and we'll all be proven wrong. Don't just respond to this with some comment about how I should worry about myself or whatever. Just do this simple thing and we can all leave it be.

In case you're serious: (1) take a piece of paper and write "1/16/2018, BIGGEST N BLACKEST mgoblog" on it; (2) take a selfie of you holding that paper, either with or without your full face in the picture; (3) go to imgur.com/upload; (4) click Browse find the photo you just took, which will automatically upload; (5) copy the URL of the new page that opens with your photo and paste the URL here. You won't do it.

... it appears as though this is just still on the app.  This doesn't seem to apply elsewhere.  I'm usually on the app and see these things constantly.  I thought a mod or two had mentioned that they can't weed them all the way out of the app or something.

Nothing's going on. Jackson was MSU's 5th receiver at best last year and 7th on the team in receiving yards. All the guys above him were supposed to return so he left.

Rison was one of those guys but he also transferred. That is mostly because him/his dad are nut cases and were upset at his playing time (which he got a good amount of as a true freshman).

Agreed, but it could lead to problems down the road for MSU. If they lose 1 more WR to attrition, NFL, etc. they are going to have a similar situation that we had this year, if not worse.

I highly doubt that. Their top 3 receivers, one of which was a true freshman, were all at 500ish yards or more, and their leading guy had close to 800 yards.

We had one WR above 300 yards and he was at 307. They are nowhere close to our clusterfuck of receiving from last year.

This year was not caused by what happened last year/off-season, it was caused by the end of the Hoke era and Harbaugh's first recruiting class. Last year our only upper classman WRs were Perry and Harris...

With MSU losing Corley, Rison, and now another depth guy, they could by hurting in a year or two, especially when Felton Davis leaves after next year.

I mean to a degree that's true, but once again this won't happen to Sparty. Expecting it is foolish.

MSU this past year was in the exact same spot we were WR depth wise. One JR WR, some sophomore WRs, and some freshmen WRs. They had a better QB situation obviously, but all their WRs produced. They return 3 productive receivers next year, and will still have two of them after Davis leaves next year. They'll easily be able to bring in and redshirt/groom younger guys to take over for their 3 productive guys in these next 2 years.

If their lack of WR depth was going to show up any year it was this past year. That didn't happen. Expecting them to be anywhere close to our incompetence in the future is setting yourself up for disappointment.

I never said I thought their passing offense would/could be as bad as ours this year... That is very dependent on the QB, and they will likely still have Lewerke in 2 years. Young WRs make stupid mistakes, they don't cause you're entire offense to become incompetent like ours. That was the result of our QBs and OL this year.

But, if they are forced to play young WRs, it will likely lead to mis-reads on option routes, doing a 9 yard curl on 3rd & 10, etc. Things that may or may not end up costing you a game or two.

Did I say "MSU is gonna suck next year now"? No. I said it could be a problem if they lose one more guy... With a few young guys leaving for various reasons over the last couple years, their upper classmen depth is gonna be very thin in a couple years.

They could be fine if some guys develop in the next year or two. They could be in trouble if a couple guys don't or get injured, etc.

am the last guy to defend MSU usually, but this is really just kids who don't think they can start transferring. It happens to us all the time and I laugh when Sparty tries to make it out to be something, I am not going to point fingers when the situation is reversed.

He's a West Bloomfield (aka Ronald Bellamy) kid who was a dual-threat QB in high school. I thought he would be pretty solid after a couple years, but he's still too skinny at 6'1", 179 lbs.

They lost a whole recruiting class's worth of guys last year, had a team that was held together by nothing more than duct tape and some Elmer's Glue, and still won 10 games. As long as Dantonio is there, there is almost nothing that will convince me that they're going to truly regress as a program. No matter how many guys transfer out of there. They're still going to contend for winning the conference next year.

Dantonio has some satanic voodoo magic going on in EL.
