Sunday Afternoon Playoff thread

Submitted by Gobgoblue on

Cincinatti goes to Indy at 1:05 EST today to kick things off, then

the Lions visit the Cowboys at 4:40.

As a Lions fan, I don't like our chances.  The boys are rolling right now.

My prediction is the Colts and Cowboys move on.  Hope I'm wrong on the second one.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!  School doesn't start up again for Mich until Wednesday, so I am sipping on some Sam Adams seasonal beers.  Cheers!

Massey has similar predictions for both games today:

Cincinnati / Indianapolis - 63% win probability for Indianapolis (Colts -3.5, 27-24 predicted score)

Dallas / Detroit - 63% win probability for Dallas (Cowboys -3.5, 23-20 predicted score)

Roll frequent flier miles and stubhub. My wife is a huge Cowboys fan and I'm a big lions fan. God help us. This is the exception the happy wife happy life. I will be really damn happy this time if she's unhappy. FORWARD DOWN THE FIELD!

I'm waiting for the lions game, watching the colts dominate the bengals, and because of how boring the game has been, I was just thinking about an apparel question. I was just thinking, because of the helmet sticker discussion, does anybody know where I can either get or send a jersey to make it more like a game jersey (b1g patch, legends patch, name plate)

Michigan WBB also just beat State, so it's time for the biggest game of the day, playoff football for...the Lions?????

(just not used to seeing this)

As a Packers fan, I am rooting for the Lions. I would rather see the Pack play the Panthers than the Cowboys. Cowboys are better on the road than at home and their offensive strength is the Packers defensive weakness...running the ball.

Hurrah....touchdown Lions.

AWESOME!!!!

Last time we played the Cowboys in the playoffs in Dallas it was 1970 and I was 11 (I remember the game well unfortunately).  So we're NOT going to get shut out that's for sure

No sacks (yet) but the pass rush is starting to get home.  Which is amazing to me given that the Dallas offensive is apparently the greatest line in the history of offensive lines according to the announcers earlier.
