Steve Carell Tours U-M Campus Today With His Kid
Steve Carell was on the U-M campus today, apparently taking a tour with his child. (Although that's not confirmed.)
So ... [INSERT THE NAME OF FAVORITE MGOBLOGGER HERE] isn't the only 40-year-old virgin in Ann Arbor today!

I laughed a little.
That's what she said.
This was awesome!!! Especially #10, #4, and #1 and the Dementos one.
I usually hate "best ever" discussions, but I literally can't think of a single funnier tv-character in the history of american television than Stevel Carell's Michael Scott.
(only Homer J. Simpson would rival, but, obviously not a human actor)
I'd say it has to be either of those two.
Archie Bunker says, "Those two couldn't hold my jock"
HAA!! You got negged for Archie Bunker - which is appropriate in a derogatory way. But I'll counter that with the obvious upvote for one of the most racist, unsympathetic leading characters in the history of television. And he was absolutely hilarious, if you have a sense of humor and can laugh at things that aren't considered politically correct.

That wouldn't fly today? Try Blazing Saddles.
Charlie: They said you was hung.
Bart: And they was right.
Hey, where da white women at?

Bart:
Are we awake?
Jim:
We're not sure. Are we black?
Bart:
Yes, we are.
Jim:
Then we're awake, but very puzzled.
Pick literally any Always Sunny character.
It’s always sunny is funnier as a whole but no one character tops Michael Scott
No one tops Michael Scott but always sunny, while funny, is nowhere near as good as The Office
Dr. Niles Crane
Not anywhere close to a top 20 placement on a funniest character list...
And what did you do/say to get blown up?
the MGoAuthorities haven't provided me with any explanation.

They didn't like you having your people stuff the ballot box. 77%? Come on, Vlad, try to make it a little more believable.

nah, it was probably the Novichok
Wait, Hotel Putingrad got sent to Bolivia? (Or in this case, Siberia?) Man, I guess no one is safe.
I'd guess it was punishment for the nerve gas thing in England.
What kind of blog are they running here anyway? If an entrenched autocrat can be removed on a whim, who is safe? Won't someone think of the children?!

Frasier was a fantastic series and often overlooked. Excellent show.

I never watched The Office when it was airing live, but I've watched it on Netflix the past year when I had time, and while it has its moments it was kind of a disappointment. I'll put in another vote for George Costanza or even Kramer.
I've tried to watch about 10 different episodes of the Office. So banal I've yet to make it through. However, I also thought Seinfeld lived up to the whole "Much ado about nothing" and never found that particularly amusing either.
...maybe it's you?

Cartman or Stan’s Dad? Nothing has made me laugh like South Park. Although it’s more trey and Matt than any specific character. We still joke about liking fish sticks and ordering a chicken sandwich from goobacks and on and on...
Stan’s dad is the freaking man!!! I would go with Ron Swanson. He cracked me up every time he was on screen. Michael Scott and the office was fine, but the humor was always too cringey, but it was a good show for the first 3 seasons. Funniest now would have to be the god Bruce Campbell on ash vs evil dead. That show is hilariously over the top awesomeness
Let me know when Will Ferrell is on campus and streaks across the DIAG naked, okay?
We're going streaking !
Do you think that KFC is still open?
my daughter saw him on campus with his kids
True story, bro
"True story, bro"
You know it's completely false.
when it’s not

I also heard he was in my adopted home town of Madison. And last week a coworker saw the Workaholics guys filming something at Mickie's Dairy Bar - I think they were promoting their new Netflix movie. And Ders went to UW. Did not know that.

Carell is scouting college campuses for an upcoming project?
Like sending his daughter to college.
Maybe he is taking Produce Pete on the road.
He was undoubtedly checking up on how Scott's Tots are doing in college.
That was a great episode.
Legendary episode
Hey Michael Scott whatcha gonna do? Watcha gonna do make our dreams come true
Was he selling action figures still in mint condition?
is in the works? Saber? Suck it?
When Toby Flenderson gets to this thread, things will definitely get interesting.....and I think I am underestimating it here. VERY interesting.
