Scoreboard dimensions? Blueprints?

Submitted by 2Blue4You on

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what the new HD megatrons will look like?  From Brandon's quotes I imagine the whole thing to be larger than the current scoreboards and assume they will take on a more "widescreen" effect rather than the square shape of our current videoboads.  I also do not quite expect something the size of Texas' one board b/c I am assuming there will be one in each endzone.  Either way I am very excited for these upgrades to all three venues and I am particularly curious to see the blueprints of the improved Crisler b/c I love the location and proximity to the stadium.   Thanks.

The length should be 300 cubits (450 feet, or 135 meters); its width should be 50 cubits (75 feet, or 22.5 meters); it should have three stories and its height needs to be 30 cubits (45 feet, or 13.5 meters).

I hope they make it so ridiculously big, it connects with the suites. Next year, we'll put a dome on top and cover it with flat screens to show everyone our wealth.
