OT: MLB All Star Game/Joe Buck drinking game/Tuesday night drinking thread

Submitted by ckersh74 on

The Joe Buck drinking game is simple. Every time he acts like a douche, take a drink. We'll all be dead by the bottom of the 2nd.

too early to say...looks bleak, but the talent is there and they're only 3.5 games out of the wildcard. if the team trades for two starters in a week or so, this team looks a whole lot better. having said that, i think this would be a great opportunity to be sellers; it's a seller's market and guys like price, cepedes, soria, rajai, could bring in some serious young talent.

If he had the ABs, he'd have the fourth highest BA in baseball for catchers.  His slugging and OBP would put him in the top 10 as well.  And the platoon of Rajai and Gose in CF makes the Tigers stronger at the position than they've been in years.  Not all platoons have to be a sign of weakness.

Their biggest on-field issue is the pitching.  Only two teams have scored more runs than the Tigers.

Despite all of this, the Tigers would probably be 3-5 games better in the standings if that hinderance in the dugout wasn't there.

What if Joe Buck palyed the Joe Buck Drinking Game?

"Take over for me....I'm the bag *head on table*"

"Uh....fly ball.....caught."

It would probably play out exactly as in "Major League".

Buck didn't learn from Mike Shannan how to drink and call a game at the same time while in St Louis.  I was a former resident of St Louis and listening to Mike Shannan in the late innings was awesome as he had already pounded a few Budweisers.  He would even say he did!

Ballast Point Sculpin. The all star game is the nadir of the off season, after this baseball will start to get interesting and college football is right around the corner.

I love that the dodgers are choking but hate they're ruining the Giants home field advantage. Not that it ever matters when the Giants make the playoffs.

flashing the leather and getting some All-Star love!

Just another routine play for him, going deep into the hole and then throwing across his body while airborne to easliy get the runner at first.  A lot of SS's can't make that play, yet Iglesias makes it look easy.
