Cousins was the hero of my team. Mason Crosbys goose egg almost wrecked it for me , although I don't blame him but rather his team.
Carolinas defense (0 points ) in week 15 helped me get knocked out of five freaking semi finals though
December 29th, 2015 at 11:02 AM ^
Congrats. I got smoked in the finals. All my supposed top guys played like horseshit and my bench lit it up.
December 29th, 2015 at 5:57 PM ^
I rode the Panthers to the championship but with Cam and Olsen having bad games Sunday, I didn't have enough to overcome Marshall, Hurns and others on the opponent side.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:03 AM ^
Won 140-134 thanks to big days by Tim Hightower, David Johnson and Allen Hurns. Somehow won this season having Matt Ryan as a QB who really didnt do much of anything. Congrats to all the other Champions on the blog. Go Blue!
December 29th, 2015 at 12:15 PM ^
that combo of Ellington (when healthy) and David Johnson could be deadly in the playoffs and into next season
December 29th, 2015 at 11:04 AM ^
I'm a champ. 8th seed in the playoffs and won the whole thing!

8 teams make the playoffs in your league?? That's insane unless you're in a 16 man league.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:05 AM ^
2 leagues this year, both very competitive, and won both. Pretty great run for me but I worked hard for it.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:06 AM ^
I killed championship week with Cousins, Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, and Tim Hightower. Those four alone would've won it. Second highest week of the season. My biggest win came in the wildcard round, though. Won by less than a point.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:07 AM ^
Got 3rd.. Brady's last two weeks were shit... What can you do. Wife also plays in my league.. Got 2nd. She had newton, Olsen and Ginn.. Took a chance and overloaded on Panthers and of course they crapped the bed in Atlanta. Between the two of us though, put in 2hundy, won 4 so no complaints.
Also, Antonio Brown killed me in the semis... No argument from me there in MVP. Dude is almost uncoverable. Central Mich... Wtf

Winning Week 16 150-73.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:25 AM ^
3rd time in 8 years.
After an 0-2 start!
Boy am I glad I drafted DeAngelo Williams with LeVeon Bell and Carson Palmer as my second QB to Tannehill
December 29th, 2015 at 11:07 AM ^
Won 164-97! Kork Coupons led the way, though almost everyone pulled their weight pretty well. Taking the fiancee out to Pacific Rim with the winnings!
December 29th, 2015 at 11:08 AM ^
I got last place and have to have an OSU sticker on my car for a year.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:38 AM ^
You don't by any chance drive a tan mini-van, do you?
December 29th, 2015 at 11:08 AM ^
Hightower, Baldwin, and Zona's D led the way. (And Tom finally had a subpar game.)
However, I owe the win solely from the team name: Harbaugh's Army. It wasn't even a fair fight.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:12 AM ^
Man....fricken Sebastian janikowski missed a fg 2weeks ago and I got eliminated. If he makes that (I lost 82-81) I win that week and both subsequent weeks and repeat as champion. Oh well

In the championship for the second year in a row. Losing 93-98 after Week 16. Thank god I had Arizona D come in clutch and get me 35 points.

Started off the season 1-6 then turned the corner and won 9 straight to take the title. And up $500 to boot!
December 29th, 2015 at 11:18 AM ^
Lost by 24 points. Had GB not shat the bed against Arizona (their D got 34 points!) I might have won, then I'd be gloating about how my 5-8 fantasy team who scored the least amount of points this year in my league won it all as the 8 seed. Still 2nd place ain't too shabby considering my team was awful most of the year...lesson being never underestimate the value of the waiver wire (and plain dumb luck).
December 29th, 2015 at 11:21 AM ^
Not that anybody cares, but this was probably my best GM job ever. Finished 12-3. Was 17 points away from an undefeated despite losing Le'Veon Bell, Mark Ingram, Arian Foster, and Keenan Allen to season ending injuries. Fortunately I had the foresight to handcuff DeAngelo Williams to Bell and I was able to ride him, along with Cam Newton, Allen Robinson, and Rob Gronkowski to my third title in six years.

We do the full 17 weeks in our leage. Championship is this week. I'm taking on my "little brother" for the title. Should be fun. My guys all have good matchups and his have tough ones. He has lots of guys going against the likes of Seattle, Arizona, NE, Min. Which, of course, means he'll kick my ass.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:31 AM ^
Won by 1.5pts on a fumble recovery in OT by Denver (I had Denver as my defense). First time playing, so I guess you can say that I'm undefeated
Kirk cousins got me through this one

See, I never draft Buckeyes or Spartans. Hate them all. Never play my guys against Lions too if I can avoid it. I tend to avoid drafting the NFC North outside Megatron and Stafford.
For some reason I've never won my league....

I won in dramatic fashion last night. I was down by 9 or so with D. Thomas and the Broncos D and he had Marvin Jones. When McMannus was lining up to kick the game winning field goal at the end of regulation I was down by 5.58. Luckily he duck hooked it and the game went to overtime. Demaryius caught a couple short passes and the Broncos D got a sack, so I had cut his lead down to 1.58pts. I needed a turnover and I got it on the last play of the game. I won by .42.

Yeah my brother in law was on the phone with him when it happened and he said it just went quiet. It's ok though because he won it the previous two years. I couldn't let him win it again. I finished the year 15-1.

Champion here! Went 13-2 overall and won last 9 consecutive games. Cam Newton carried the team.

... and lost in the first round.
yay

Bengals fucked me. All they needed to do was get 5 yards of offense in OT, but they decided to botch a snap instead.

thanks to a three way tie and one of the dudes never paid. Instead of just booting the guy and letting me and the other guy use the head-to-head tiebreaker (which I would have won), commish decided to use the three-way tiebreaker...then removed the non-paying team from the league. I thought it was unfair, especially considering the entry fee was $150. Needless to say, I lost my first round game by seven points, then proceeded to have the most points scored then next two weeks.

I joined my church fantasy football league this year and the leader named my team the virgins since was my first fantasy football experience. Out of 12 guys, Finished the regular season #1 and am currently trailing in the championship due to some illicit trades that occurred between two of the members. The virgin is now the pimp!

I got 3rd place, but I'm considering it a huge win given the fact that I spent half of my auction budget on Andrew Luck and Demarco Murray. Blake Bortles, Eric Decker and a late season pick up of Deangelo Williams made it possible. Not to mention unexpected good seasons from Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Crabtree. If I hadn't lost in the semifinals I would have won the championship 179 - 159.
December 29th, 2015 at 11:59 AM ^
Won my league despite starting Aaron Rodgers against Zona. Frank Gore and Allen Robinson came through for me.
December 29th, 2015 at 12:00 PM ^
I invited my semi retired dad to be my assistant coach a number of years ago. I thought it would be something we could talk about and do together. Of course he slowly took over the whole thing, and I only pay attention in the playoffs, but I must say the guy is kind of a savant. He cashed again for me and brought home the trophy this year!
December 29th, 2015 at 12:02 PM ^
Won my league and a cool $1000 by beating the two time champ. Had a great draft. Started all but one player I drafted. The one player I didn't: Denard. Brandon Marshall and Deandre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald were huge for me this year.

Crushed it in one league with the most points in the league every week of the playoffs. Got knocked out in the semis of a league I should have won it all in (I finished the regular season in first place with 4 games between me and the next best team in the league) and won the regular season (still get money), but lost in the semis as well. Overall still taking home over $150 after taking out league fees at the beginning of the season.
December 29th, 2015 at 12:04 PM ^
So I run a FF league that is in its 9th year... Nobody has won it twice yet til this year! I won 84-83 because Ed Hochuli didn't reverse that incomplete pass call in OT (it should have been a sack/fumble). If he did the score would have been 84-84 and I would have lost on bench points. The very next play was the aborted snap that Denver recovered. My roommate and best friend was furious, I drank copious amounts of Bourbon to celebrate my controversial victory. Now my roommate gets to look at the championship belt everyday and relive the way he lost to me in epic fashion!

Won the PPR 2-QB league by having Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson as my QBs. RBs weren't good (McCoy and Latavius Murray) but they stayed healthy and a late season pickup of Tim Hightower helped. My WRs though are what brought me the title. Julio Jones, AJ Green, Michael Crabtree, and Doug Baldwin. I picked up Baldwin right before his late season explosion. Couple hundred richer now.

Started off 0-5 due to injuries and bad luck. Won six straight, snuck into the playoffs, killed everyone on the playoffs.
December 29th, 2015 at 12:19 PM ^
I didn't defend my championship, but I did win the 3/4 game by 0.02 which really pissed off my opponent.
December 29th, 2015 at 12:20 PM ^
We're doing a two week championship but I've got a commanding lead in the game so far. Tom Brady, Leveon Bell/Deangelo Williams, and Devonta Freeman carried the team. Helped to have a bunch of locals (OSU filled rosters), folks who tired of the league, and scoring that gives points for everything. Going with Bortles and Denard for last round.

I was in 12 leagues. Made the playoffs in 11 of them. Won my one money league. My league for my tailgating group was won by my fiancée. The rest of my leagues I'll be taking home an assortment of 1sts,2nds, 3rds, and 4ths. I'm happy with my year.

I completed a .5 ppr standard scoring league as an undefeated champion. I had tons of luck along the way. I actually lost Charles and Foster but was lucky that I also drafted Freeman.
