Six switch version or four switch?
I am thankful we are finally getting some snow here in Northern Colorado, it actually looks like winter outside this morning. A foot or so additional of the greatest gift ever is inbound tonitght. Ullr and Santa know exactly what I like.

SNES Christmas of 92 I think. We snooped and found it in the basement before Christmas. I must have played Mario Cart about a million times that year. The good old days.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:10 AM ^
Loved playing that game with Queen's "Another one bites the dust" playing in the background.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:33 AM ^
N64 for me.
December 24th, 2017 at 9:38 AM ^
Surprised my gf with a puppy 2 years ago. She cried. A lot. Dog is asleep between us as I type this.
Recieved: My grandfather's Marine Corps Rifle Expert pendant. Given to me shortly after he passed.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:06 AM ^
Both of those are awesome man.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:21 AM ^
Is that my grandfather never taught me to shoot. Learned as a teen from my uncle, and I'm pretty terrible.
December 24th, 2017 at 11:44 AM ^
Thats interesting. Unless you do it alot its hard to be good. The greatest generation were around guns alot more than us prolly lol.
December 24th, 2017 at 3:41 PM ^
You can say that again
December 24th, 2017 at 9:40 AM ^
Best gift given and received are the same thing: no longer exchanging presents at Christmas with family. Saves so much time stress and money. Now we just get to hang out and enjoy the holiday.

Good move. Happiness can be found outside the hive and it's a shame more people don't realize this.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:00 PM ^
here for this!! year 1 of trying to convince my family to stop doing gifts. everyone still bought gifts. :/
December 24th, 2017 at 9:41 AM ^
The best one I ever gave was a bottle of Johnnie Walker blue label to my dad about 5 years ago. He loved it
December 24th, 2017 at 9:43 AM ^
Best received : The gift of salvation via Jesus Christ.
Best received as a child: Nintendo in 1986. It came out in 85 but we were poor. still no idea how my dad afforded it. My best guess is my grandfather pitched in, which was probably the biggest regret of his life. If I had a nickel for every time he said "turn off that boob tube and the blasted notoedo, it's a perfect day outside " I'd be rich. I swear I heard that during thunderstorms.
Best received as an adult: From wife, inappropriate for this thread.
Best given: custom tiffany bracelet with all our kids initials on it.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:23 AM ^
Best now is just being with family and friends.
December 24th, 2017 at 12:08 PM ^
We've all dreamed of (or received) a cock ring. Nothing to be ashamed of! God bless.
December 24th, 2017 at 9:46 AM ^
It's a framed large picture of me and my wife (before we were married) in the front row of the student section cheering on Michigan. It was the 2011 OSU game and in the photo behind us is a girl stoically holding a "Beat Ohio" sign. I actually did cry when I opened it. Hanging proudly in our living room.
December 24th, 2017 at 9:52 AM ^
I think it was Madden '96. There's a VHS of me somewhere in my parents' basement playing it and you can hear me saying "wow look at these graphics!"
December 24th, 2017 at 9:53 AM ^
In front of whole family. Very grateful she said yes
December 24th, 2017 at 9:57 AM ^
A bold move, Cotton. Glad it paid off.
December 24th, 2017 at 1:12 PM ^
we were definitely headed that way though, so although it was surprise timing, it wasn't a surprise in terms of what we wanted. 22 yrs ago tomorrow, and a bunch of kids later, that was a gift that makes all others pale in comparison. i just hope i do my part to make sure she feels as blessed as i do. probably not, but at least i have a clear goal.
December 24th, 2017 at 1:43 PM ^
You're awesome XM, never tire hearing about your family and all the love and respect you have for each other. Wow, can't +1 you enough!
December 24th, 2017 at 10:04 AM ^
Dangerous move. I know someone who did the same thing, woman felt pressured to say yes. Marriage ended on very bad terms.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:05 AM ^
But my boys are. Merry Christmas everyone.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:06 AM ^
As a kid, receiving the Nintendo 64 was the best thing ever. This may or may not be me in the video.
December 24th, 2017 at 11:09 AM ^
...watching the YouTube link you provided just sent me into a rabbit-hole of videos with kids being surprised Christmas morning with game systems... and has also turned me into a laughing / crying mess. Is there any greater thing than seeing our kids that excited on Christmas morning?
December 24th, 2017 at 10:10 AM ^
The city of Savannah is the best i ever recieved..

Make the holidays special....
December 24th, 2017 at 1:23 PM ^
This was so good that I gave it +1 despite the misspelling.
Besides, I know how hard it was to learn to write with a piece of coal next to the cabin's fireplace.
December 24th, 2017 at 1:42 PM ^
Thank you sir! Funny response.
December 24th, 2017 at 1:27 PM ^
don't accept the gift. trusts me on this one.
December 24th, 2017 at 1:47 PM ^
I will keep that in mind, but i hear "My American Cousin" is resplendent in its jocularity.
December 24th, 2017 at 5:15 PM ^
I found it overrated however the special effects were realistic
December 24th, 2017 at 6:29 PM ^
Plus that Laura Keene is quite a handsome woman - and she shows a daring amount of ankle in a few scenes.
December 24th, 2017 at 5:24 PM ^
Your wife thought it was OK.
December 24th, 2017 at 6:26 PM ^
Except for ... you know ...
December 24th, 2017 at 10:10 AM ^
Best gift received: well, Barcelona curb stomped Madrid in the classico yesterday and extended their lead to 14 pts and the other 3 closest teams in La liga also lost, so that was pretty great.
Best gift ever gave: a puppy
December 24th, 2017 at 10:15 AM ^
Got a Sega back in like 92 and it’s been all downhill since.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:20 AM ^
Received- a replica of the Little Brown Jug actual size, gave-bought my wife a new car and just wrapped the key up. I put the car in her dad's barn with a giant red bow ( which the dealer made me promise to give back) she freaked and threw the keys when she opened the box. I was the guy who laughed at the Lexus and Mercedes commercials that have people getting cars for Christmas like who does that. Whenever anyone brings up the car for Christmas she likes to remind them she still had the car payments!
December 24th, 2017 at 2:29 PM ^
You gave your wife a car that she helped pay for? That is awesome.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:28 AM ^
Received: First satellite TV followed by 4 hours of dangling off the roof with my old man in December trying to get it mounted.
Gave: This year giving a Switch to my brother and his 8, 10, and 11 year old girls later today. Picked up Mario Odyssey for him (will be nostalgia overload for us both) and Mario Kart + extra controllers for the girls (might have to play Sunday Bloody Sunday on repeat tonight).
December 24th, 2017 at 10:35 AM ^
Received: when the slutty ex-girlfriend gave me a Z job.
December 24th, 2017 at 10:38 AM ^
Whats a Z job
December 24th, 2017 at 10:40 AM ^
If you don't know you can't afford it.
