MSU wins now.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:54 PM ^
FUCK osu!
January 7th, 2018 at 9:40 PM ^
You seam to be trying too hard. Not very honest...
January 7th, 2018 at 9:44 PM ^
Yeah, Honest Abe reminds me a lot of WD, Hatchett, and Horatio. All of them seem to like to comment on everything and upvote themselves/each other. Aside from the time WD helped to take down Brandon they never seem to have much to offer but sure do like attention.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:58 PM ^
Looks like I reverse Jinxed it and OSU turned super saiyan
January 7th, 2018 at 5:34 PM ^
Games aren't won at halftime. See you in 20 minutes.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:41 PM ^
you should have kept studying after 6th grade Sparty Trioll.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:43 PM ^
I mean, if it's one thing this place is good for, it's a "watch for the upset" thread that goes up too early and jinxes the whole thing.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:48 PM ^
Can games be won in the first 21 minutes? You have a point but I am enjoying this all the same. Makes our loss to them more understandable.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:50 PM ^
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it, too.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:50 PM ^
whether OSU wins or not, it's impressive they beat the #1 team in the country by 12 in a half, which was the OP's point.
OSU is a good, well-coached team as much as I hate to say it.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:34 PM ^
for going out to halfcourt to yell at the refs. I didn't think that was possible. Then Dakich hit a bank three at the buzzer. Good for him.
January 7th, 2018 at 11:56 PM ^
Is Dakich also the unofficial coach of OSU this year?
Motta got fired right? I don't even know who their coach is.
January 8th, 2018 at 8:36 AM ^
Please tell me MSU was floor slapping towards the end.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:35 PM ^
Meteor strike for the win!
January 7th, 2018 at 5:35 PM ^
Can't decide either. Asteroid or meteorite.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:39 PM ^
would be my choice for that crowd.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:45 PM ^
I would go with "hitherto unknown fault line activates under the arena, swallows arena, then we fill in the hole and build a park on the remains so something beautiful can be where something ugly once was".
January 7th, 2018 at 8:13 PM ^
volcano opens up below them. molten lake of lava replaces colombus.
January 7th, 2018 at 9:16 PM ^
That would include work, but not me.
January 8th, 2018 at 8:47 AM ^
...the line of demarcation be moved to I-71 and points east. Live west of it, work east of it.
January 8th, 2018 at 11:38 AM ^
As long as the lava swallows everything but the couches, which it summarily sets on fire instead...
January 7th, 2018 at 6:00 PM ^
killer giant anacondas slithering out of the Oletangy River and swallowing up everything wearing green or scarlet.
January 7th, 2018 at 6:52 PM ^
I like that.
January 7th, 2018 at 7:38 PM ^
Given the way those heathens eat and swill Bud Light, isn't disintery-like symptoms normal for that crowd?
January 7th, 2018 at 7:55 PM ^
what the coolers would look like then.
January 7th, 2018 at 9:55 PM ^
A lot like closed windows I would think.
January 7th, 2018 at 8:44 PM ^
asteroids stay in space. meteors make contact with earth. you wanted a meteor
January 7th, 2018 at 9:50 PM ^
Actually it's a meteorite that hits the ground.
January 7th, 2018 at 10:42 PM ^
it hits the ground.
I think.
January 8th, 2018 at 7:32 AM ^
Meteor in the atmosphere. Meteorite when it hits the surface of the Earth. You wanted a meteorite impact.
January 8th, 2018 at 9:03 AM ^
I'll take a gas leak in the building with sneaky smoing co-ed.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:36 PM ^
That was so wild but something that would totally happen. Absurd and hilarious
January 7th, 2018 at 5:39 PM ^
more if OSU loses since they are likely to be a bubble team with us..BUT I'm rooting for OSU..An Izzo loss & TV Ted being scolded on same day..Priceless
January 7th, 2018 at 5:41 PM ^
We should be more than a bubble team.
January 7th, 2018 at 9:43 PM ^
some have us as #9 seed
January 7th, 2018 at 6:03 PM ^
Michigan benefits more if OSU wins because we play OSU twice and MSU only once. Just as we want teams we play to win, we want teams we play twice to beat teams we only play once for RPI purposes (we get this win from the opponent counted twice).
The odds of us being the 68th team and them being the 69th team and first team out of the tourney are negligible and is not something to worry about.
January 7th, 2018 at 6:42 PM ^
sunstantively beneficial if we can beat OSU the next time we play them.
January 7th, 2018 at 9:00 PM ^
it's better for a team we play twice to win than teams we play once to win.
If we win, yes, that'll be a more quality win now. But even if we lose, it'll be a more "quality" loss.
And obviously, we want to win all of the games.
January 7th, 2018 at 6:12 PM ^
F$&! Michigan State!!!
January 7th, 2018 at 5:39 PM ^
I know it’s only halftime but I fucking hate how the stars seem to always align for that school all the damn time. I’ve accepted the fact that MSU is going to be very good this year, but I’d rather not see OSU become good again too.
This would be a program-defining win for them.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:39 PM ^
That Dakich buzzer beater was fantastic. Very happy for him. I’m hoping OSU wins. They are more likely to have other losses in conference. MSU will run away with the conference if they don’t lose 2-3 games that they shouldn’t.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:40 PM ^
I can't believe I am writing this, but I would be fine with OSU winning today. Not happy, but not sad either.
January 7th, 2018 at 5:41 PM ^
Well, they do have better coaching now that Thad is gone...what an awful name by the way, its like Chad but with an oversized tongue lisp...Anyway, Matta blew
January 7th, 2018 at 6:07 PM ^
Matta was fucking terrible. 2 Final Fours, 5 regular season conference championships, 4 conference tournament championships.
January 7th, 2018 at 6:21 PM ^
Good recruiter at a powerhouse school, those teams were super talented..If you think Thad was a good prep coach or got the most out of that talent then you can crown him..13 seasons 0 national titles with some of the most talented teams in the country.
January 7th, 2018 at 6:33 PM ^
I'm really not into the "Haha these guys did so much better than us but had more talent and wasted it" angle.
January 7th, 2018 at 6:34 PM ^
I’m still not sure how he didn’t win it all with old man Oden and Connelly on the team. Thad had some crazy talented teams that always seemed to shit the bed in crunch time
January 7th, 2018 at 6:46 PM ^
They ran into one of the best college teams of all time in the title game that year. Just unlucky.
January 7th, 2018 at 6:55 PM ^
He did fail to mention that the other team had 4 NBA players on it too. Who are still playing in the league a decade later
