New 2019 QB offer: Ty Evans
New 2019 QB offer - once again mining the cream of the Colorado crop. He was committed to Dan Enos at Ark. before the coaching change, so this one is obviously on Enos - though Pep gave him the offer.
Player of the year on State champs with great stats and shows pretty good wheels as well.

Odd offer considering we’re also recruiting Caff’s brother Luke who’s also from Colorado. In fact, Luke is the better QB from preliminary evaluations.

Is he being recruited as a QB? I thought he was offered as an athlete with a high likelihood of playing WR. That's what he played when Dylan was QB at their school.

It will depend on how he refines his skillset this season. He has plenty of P5 offers to play QB so the potential is there. Personally, I would like to have a true dual threat QB on the roster once Patterson leaves.

Extra pumped about this offer, I have Ty in one of my classes! Good athlete, Gatorade POY and the team blasted everyone they played this year. I will say this, competition is suspect out here, moved from Ohio and the games just don’t have the same electricity as they did there. In my first hand opinion, he needs some polish physically, however he has a good arm, I routinely bust his chops for locking on to one target though, and he has a tendency to throw late over the middle which is a problem. But those are problems easily fixed when he is a senior next year Congrats Ty!

To be fair though, there's only a handful of states that are as HS football obsessed as Ohio (Texas and Florida). I think this kid will be a good one in a few years.

It's not odd. We've sent out other QB offers, and every team sends out multiple QB offers. And whether they're from the same state or not is somewhat irrelevant, just like offering two QBs from Maryland or Florida.

He was just looking for a chance to take another shot at our coaches.
Either that, or he really thinks that it is prudent for schools to only offer 1 kid at QB in a given year. Not to mention the idea that you continue to scout kids into their junior and senior year. It is possible that 16 year olds improve during high school and turn into top players.

Hey look it’s my online stalker. Listen sunshine blower, all I said was to temper expectations because Michigan isn’t at OSUs level this having insane expectations year in and out for the field and recruiting is a recipe for let down. None of that is inaccurate.
Quit following me around on the internet and get a life.

Your catchy name and profile picture, along with your constant dumpy diapers takes on recruiting make you easy to spot. You, WarmCockles, ak47, AAForever and the North Texas dude are all basically the same poster - a warm can of MaizenLite. I don't "follow" any of you and this is plainly obvious to anyone that reads threads.

I have been swamped at work and get so little time to enjoy myself. So my posting lately has been limited to antogonizing trolls (you are either a rival fan, or more likely, a dour concern troll) which I very much enjoy.
It's like my version of a cigarette break.

I have blown up 6 pump and dump frauds in the past 12 years by reporting them to the relevant authorities, But that takes more time and effort - so I have been on hiatus from hunting penny stock fraudsters.
So for all you wanna be pump and dump fraudsters out there - be warned. Your time is limited. LOL!

I'm not Blue In Paradise, I have a life, and I don't give a shit about you.
You and several other posters post the same snowflakes about recruiting OVER AND OVER again. You are obviously free to do so, but anyone with the cognative ability to recognize patterns will remember a poster when they post the same stuff hundreds of times in different threads - reusing sentences, phrases and the same "unique thoughts" (hint - they aren't unique). Maybe you and the others I mentioned (there are more) don't realize how often you post the exact same takes?

Getting a reaction from a troll is a LOT of fun!

Do you know how many QBs we've offered so far for 2019?

Evans is better than L. McCaffrey right now. Watch the film.

Bold offer.
January 24th, 2018 at 8:43 AM ^
he goes through his progressions. Pretty rare to see that in a high school player. Moves well. Do want.
January 24th, 2018 at 7:37 AM ^
He throws a lot of wobbly balls. Needs to tighten up some of those spirals.
January 24th, 2018 at 7:46 AM ^
Yikes thats slow for a QB.
January 24th, 2018 at 7:55 AM ^
That's slow for an OT.
January 24th, 2018 at 11:44 AM ^
So that time sounds great to me! And I bet it's faster than Tom Brady at his NFL combine
January 24th, 2018 at 8:09 AM ^
I give that 5 fakes out of 5, while the kid isn’t a blazer he is in the high 4.8 range.
January 24th, 2018 at 10:09 AM ^
the time was from a sparq event though
January 24th, 2018 at 10:32 AM ^
Yeah, but a Michigan offer automatically shaves .2 seconds off a prospect's forty time.
January 24th, 2018 at 8:12 AM ^
Not sure how well the Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard will translate to QB but I trust Harbaugh.
January 24th, 2018 at 8:45 AM ^
Verbally committed to his "dream school" on Jan 15. Doubt we flip him from his hometown dream.
January 24th, 2018 at 10:03 AM ^
I'd be surprised to see him flip. He'll have a shot to play early in Boulder.
January 24th, 2018 at 11:48 AM ^
OP says he is/was committed to Arkansas? Are you saying he's a CU commit?
January 24th, 2018 at 12:07 PM ^
CU committ.
