OSU vs. CSU seems the most interesting. Although, with S. Fla. being ranked preseason, it might be worth tuning in. Not a great slate but, hey, it's college football, baby!!!

I just heard Corso on Gameday say OSU has best coordinators in the conference... What a joke. Don Brown by far the best D coordinator in conference.

would not pay a whole lot of attention to what Corso says. I know he wants to go out on his own terms but somebody should have "the conversation" with him at this point. You can tell that the situation is making that whole crew uncomfortable right now. He has had a good run but it is well past time now.

He made all sorts of bold, nonsense predictions and no one on set really wanted to say anything to him. He's losing it a bit.

Keep him for the headset picks, but he shouldn't be a talking head anymore

I've never heard Corso say anything interesting or insightful. There's not a signficant difference between young Corso and old Corso. He's there because he's a funny, personable guy.

Really, most of what's called "analysis" on Gameday is pretty useless. Herbstreit and Fowler seem like OK guys, but they really don't enhance my viewing experience.

I can understand the entertainment value of the show. The signs and the crowd are cool, and though the shtick ran its course a long time ago, Corso's mascot call is still pretty funny.

you watch it today? He has deteriorated significantly since last year. They are doing him a disservice by keeping him in that position.

I love me some college football but I'll probably watch parts of Oregon State/Colorado State and not much else.

Last year's opening weekend was about the same in terms of quality games but watching Cal/Hawaii had the extra added interest because it involved an opponent we would be playing the following week. This...is a whole lot of blah.

This could be one of the more interesting (competitive) matchups of the day (or else osu v csu). On a related note, I purchased a new phone a few months ago and one of the preinstalled apps was something called "go90". I had never used it before and was going to remove it this morning - turns out it streams certain non-major sporting events for free. Among European women's field hockey and some kind of motorsport, it will show the HI-UMass game today.

The Texas Southern QB totally reminds me of a much less talented Denard. Not just his hair, all his mannerisms are similar, even the way he tugs his face mask down. Brings back some good memories. He doesn't seem to have that electric smile though.
