My dental office decorates for Hate Week

My office is in Sylvania,OH just over the border.  It is a small suburb of Toledo that usally gets the attention from the media on the "Border Battle" shows.  The local news outlets have done story after story on our decorations, but we have run out of new material.  We have had the high school band in the lobby playing both fight songs, sumo wrestled in the yard twice.  We now have 4 dentists and it is and even split.  Usually I have a variety of outfits from my avatar to the entire football uniform, bib overalls, satin vest/bow tie with fez.... 

How crazy is your work?

You would never have found any maize n blue in ole Reed Bacus’s (and yes, he is related the Bacus who played for Meechigan and later suffered through a lengthy career for the lions) dental office on main st. He was one of the biggest OSU slappies in Sylvania. Good luck living amongst the unwashed buckeye faithful down there in my old home town.

It's actually kind of a shame that The Game falls on the week of a holiday now because there are so few people in on that week to have a meaningful rivalry thing going. The Wolverines and Buckeyes here used to play pranks using each other's flags, team decor, etc..., sing fight songs ate annoying loud levels at random intervals, and some other fun stuff. I loved participating in it, but as it is now, few people are even in this week and I am only here today and tomorrow, so it would just be me and one Buckeye doing stuff basically.

who was an assistant on the women's gymanstics team.  I helped her young son get a Dr J trading card and she had a secretary whose husband worked in the equipment room.  He askede what size I was, she said punter, and the next day I was given actual pants.  They are a really cool stretchy material.

Must be a dentist thing. All the way out here in Concord, NH our pediatric dental practice has one guy who went to Michigan and another who went to Ohio State. They have decorated the office accordingly. (My kids see the Michigan guy, by the way.)

Looks like it's all in good fun. When I lived in Michigan, used to hate all the back-and-forth with the rivals. Made it no fun to be a fan. Now living in Chicago, basically a Big Ten smorgasbord, miss some of that passion.
