No word on if Tim brando’s “Dabbing” will make an appearance. Going to assume it will be Gus Johnson

I live in Wisconsin and used to go to every Michigan game. In the early 2000s when the younger generation only knew a good Wisconsin the entire atmosphere of Camp Randall changed and I never go anymore.

It's still the only visiting stadium I've been spit on. It is easily the least family friendly sporting arena I've ever been to because of the public drunkeness, swearing, and attitudes of the home fans.

About 10 years ago Barry Alvarez tried to clean it up by writing a letter to the students and that just made it worse.

A good friend offered me a ticket for this weekend's game and I told him no because it would just ruin our good time if I went to cheer on Michigan.

So if you're willing to go in plain clothes you might have an enjoyable time...

Glad it's a nooner. For the M fans going to the game, don't take any shit, and be sure to tell those badger fans they are cheese curd eating, cheap, lying, no good, rotten, four flushing, snake licking, dirt eating, inbreed, overstuffed, ignorant, blood sucking, dog kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat assed, bug eyed, stiff legged, spotty lipped, worm headed, sacks of monkey shit! Hallelujah! Holy shit! Then take some Tylenol! Go Blue!

I used to go to Camp Randall a lot. I went in 1986 during Harbaugh's last game there. It was and still is the loudest atmosphere I have ever been in. Outnumbered, I nearly got in to several fights wearing Michigan gear, including a punch straight to the gut. The drunken atmosphere with students tearing up the bleachers has been around a long time, not just since the early 2000s. It is Wisconsin, after all.

That being said, it's still a fun place to be.

One of my best memories of beating the badgers was in 2001.. right after the win I went out and waited in line to buy a Nintendo GameCube. Ah to be a kid again..

For anybody going to Madison next week, Michigan hockey will there playing Wisconsin as well next Friday and Saturday night. That would be a great trifecta.

Kohl Center usually has plenty of hockey tickets available.    In fact, I just checked the Wisconsin ticket office web page.  There are a ton of seats available on both nights.

I don't like the Kohl Center Upper Reserved section for hockey, unless you're in the first few rows.  Try to get lower bowl, if possible.

I'm a little disappointed in the 11a game, my wife and I hoped to hit up a bike trail in the morning.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

11am Central. Maybe it'll be a slow start for the Badgers and UM can get an early lead.

Also, will be watching on mute if that screaming lunatic Gus Johnson is on the call.

Seems like someone always blows it for me when I DVR a game, like yesterday when I was driving home from my brothers game and my dad knew I was taping it. Still blurted out the halftime score as I was dropping him off. I was like wtf?!

Even in a more controlled environment, I still fail, so I wish you luck.

Buy the best set of Bose noise cancelling headphones and wear them at all times.   Avoid all eye contact with any living, breathing creature.   Turn off the smart phone.   You should be good.

This is my worst pet peeve.   I'm a religious DVR advocate, and it is sancrosanct to not know the score before pressing play.

9AM start for me.  Too early.  Set the alarm for a football game? Yuk!  But once game is going and coffee in cup, its all good.

Ahh, West Coast Saturday mornings...  I remember them, but not fondly.  Coffee and football don't work together very well.  Beer goes much better with a game, but there's something not right about having a beer at 9AM!

West Coast is great for NFL 10AM, 1PM, 5PM games.  It's great for Piston's games at 4:30 starts.  World Series mostly 5-6PM games. I couldn't wait til 9PM to watch MNF or WS games and have them end after midnight. No way.

The only drawback for me is 9AM Michigan starts, but I'll deal with it.  My favorite sport is Michigan football.

Boo. Fox is the worst. This is the biggest game of the day and they slate it at noon due to having lame PAC 12/Big 12 commitments.

11AM CT kickoffs make for shitty pre-game atmospheres in Madison.

WOW. Uve obviously never rose at 4:30 a.m. to meet up w others, drive 2+ hrs in order to get a prkng place, drag everything out, set everything up, cook food and take in all the sights and sounds that are "tailgating". I didn't do all that shit for 25 years looking forward to a "cup o' coffee".
