Disclaimer: This isn't meant to be a "top 10" video.  People who are inclined to complain that one of their favorite plays wasn't included may want to consider this a video of "forgotten" or "overlooked" plays rather than "memorable" plays.  I hope people enjoy the video.  Go Blue!

The little brown jug is such a great trophy. I love the fact that we didn't trust the water in Minnesota, so we brought our own.  We should do this again with a few of our other opponents nowadays. Might I suggest:

The little brown MRI machine for purdue and the little brown cooler for ohio state

1. Thanks for posting that's a great way to start the day. 2. I can't pick a favorite out of all that, there is just too many cool memories there. 3. Can we please run some simple screens, those looked hella fun. 4. Throwback with Gentry to Peters against Osu. Yes please. Happy Halloween everyone.

I never noticed before how much faster the Victors has gotten over time. I guess back in 1900 it was a serious and graceful dirge that took the entire halftime period to get through one rendition.

I took my mom, who had never been to a game at Michigan Stadium. I'd been given free tickets and intended to go to the game with both my mom and dad, though I had my own student ticket. The weather was just awful, and my dad told us he was in no mood to endure the downpour that afternoon. So, I used my dad's ticket and sat with my mom in the south end zone.

We lasted until after half time so that my mom could see the band perform. Both of us were soaked to the bone, but my mom was happy. She was a big fan of Bo Schembechler, and that was the one and only time she'd been able to see him coach a game.

Here's a hidden one: Jason Carr to Walter Smith for a two-yard gain late in the 1994 game.

The back story: Walter Smith had contributed at WR for three years, and was elected a team captain for his senior season in 1994. Then he blew out his ACL in the week before the season opener. This Minnesota game was homecoming, less than three months after his injury, and he rehabbed hard enough to get back on the field. This catch was his only play of his senior season, and his last moment in a Michigan uniform, which is why he's so emotional about a short gain in garbage time.

I was at that game, and the entire stadium realized the significance of the moment. You can hear everyone chanting "Walter, Walter" during the next play. It's still one of my favorite Michigan Stadium memories.
