It feels like 20 years.

I know we've only known each other four weeks and three days, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days. The first day seemed like a week and the second day seemed like five days. And the third day seemed like a week again and the fourth day seemed like eight days. And the fifth day you went to see your mother and that seemed just like a day, and then you came back and later on the sixth day, in the evening, when we saw each other, that started seeming like two days, so in the evening it seemed like two days spilling over into the next day and that started seeming like four days, so at the end of the sixth day on into the seventh day, it seemed like a total of five days. And the sixth day seemed like a week and a half. I have it written down, but I can show it to you tomorrow if you want to see it.

It's not going to be getting any easier going forward. Used to be able to share titles if both teams had the same records, regardless of head to head (that only determined Rose Bowl bids). Now you've got to win your division, then win another game.
Would be interestering to find out how many of our titles were outright over the last 50 years...my guess it's a low percentage.

The key question isn't whether they were outright but whether we were the B1G's official representative.

With the divisions and title game, there is now only one Big Ten Champion. Before 2011, there were often co-champions, making it a lot easier to get a banner. Two or even three out of ten or eleven teams could win. Now, only one team out of 14 can win.

Carr maybe didn't recruit his best in the last couple of years but RichRod was awful at recruiting, every time we needed an OL recruit he went out and got another slot ninja, his recruiting was very unbalanced, that was the biggest problem.

He needed receivers.
Look at Lloyd's 2005-2007 WR signees that RR inherited-
- 2005: LaTerryal Savoy
- 2006: Greg Mathews.......that's it. He signed one guy in 2006.
- 2007: Zion Babb, Toney Clemons, Junior Hemingway

Bullshit is right. There's no way Les would have won six games.

Miles does win more, but it doesn't mean we're better long term.
Miles would've run a system closer to what Carr had, Mallett stays, we're likely at that record WD says. But it doesn't mean we wouldn't have been that for 3-4 years straight and he was fired just like Rich Rod.
Rich Rod was left with shit and made it worse by saying "fuck easing my system in, we're going all in on day 1."
Hoke won early because he said, we're going to go 50/50 in year 1, 25/75 in year two and phase this thing in.
He also had much more talent than Rich Rod had...but best believe, if Hoke had come in and said, we're going to make Denard a dropback passer and run a boring "prostyle" offense. We're not going to the Sugar Bowl.
Hoke got that year by basically running a hybrid of Rich Rod's offense mixed with Borges and then having Mattison run the defense and it worked for a year.

He literally was making fun of Mike Hart's height in a mean-spirited way.
Did we care? Nope. Scoreboard and that player he was making of of's 4-0 record against msu said it all.

Sorry, the Purdue and Illinois games were no flukes. They torched our defense.
Especially Purdue. There's no excuse there as we scored our highest total of the season in that game.
What did they run? Spreads with mobile QBs.
