Did you see Grier this year? No way Patterson is at that level. If he is, Michigan shouldn't lose a game with that defense and a QB capable of throwing 30+ TDs and 3,500 yards in 11 games.

grier played for WVU, who is in the Big 12, where they throw the ball at least 35 times a game, and the defenses of those teams are usually not very good. Now if he can complete 64% of passes that is something that I think most fans would be happy with, but comparing stats from grier at WVU to what Patterson does at michigan would be a little egregious

My point was that Grier has shown to be good, even if it was the Big 12 Patterson has yet to show the ability to do what Grier has already done.
