The kid's 5'9" and 125 lbs...it's crazy to think about someone that size being good enough to commit to college.

how does anyone really know what this kid will be like in another 4-5 years? Maybe he's hit his ceiling. Maybe he doesn't grow much more. Crazy to offer a 13 year old kid a college scholarship.

I've worked with high schoolers a good bit so a rising 9th grader committing to a college always seems wild to me - though I know this is how the hockey recruiting world works. You just change and grow so much each year in high school

Tonight I will be watching my high school junior (born in 2001) play a high school hockey game. On Sunday I will be watching my 8th grader (born in 2001) play a hockey game. Still waiting on the phone call from Mel though.

In the future could you just say " Hockey picks up 13 yr old commit " if your posting on a Friday.
I don't want to have to think and do math anymore this week.
