HELLO 2019 QB Cade McNamara
Ranked 318 in the country as of now, #9 pro-style QB.
I'm not impressed...looking at offer sheet, VERY impressed. I'll take a kid that ND, Alabama, and Georgia offered.
Kid whose name I can neither pronounce nor spell but it isn’t beyond Harbaugh to take 2.

Has some Drew Brees in him, but little quicker.
That you, Fred?
assuming Shea Patterson's appeal comes through.
Better yet, the years between them set up well for development and the future.

No cage match. If Patterson is eligible, he starts.

Hopefully 2019 is Patterson's second and final year. McNamara isn't going to jump Patterson, Peters and McCaffrey as a true freshman.

2019 is his draft year.
Username checks out?

Not really. Wouldn't the oracle be able to say directly if Patterson was going to be elligble or not?

is the word you are looking for

bama offer doesn't mean much unless it's commitable. they are known for giving out qb offers that aren't commitable.
Love me some Hello posts again!!
Go Blue!!
At 6'1" he will look funny next to Milton
He’s definitely a little taller than 6’1 now based on his pic next to Jim. I’d guess that measurement is a few camps old.
I was 6'1 my junior year and ended up 6'5 at graduation in HS.
Well, whoopty doo for you Mr. Tall Guy!
I was the tallest freshman at 5'11" while being the youngest. I towered over my friends in pictures, then I stopped growing and everyone blew past me, haha

Geez, did you go to a school for giants? Average male height in the US is 5'9".
Cept mine was in college. Entered M at 6'1 and left 6'5
Aging however is moving me back downward. Just had my annual physical and measured just under 6'4
Yep. Gravity sucks. I look up at my son now. Punk.

And strike your wife. Who has been dead for years. Who did you hit???
and smallest guy on the team. during camp i grew and started to gain weight. took some ribbing for that, 'hey. rookie. what's up with you?' (said in a canadian accent). I only topped out at 6' 2" after college, but it was nice not being the smallest guy anymore.
Pep can recruit
Pep can leave!
getting offers from Bama and UGA and most of his CBs were for USC. Who here thought Pep would be able to reel him in?
Getting a McNamara to flip from ND -- and on St. Patrick's Day. Impressive.

Turned it around. The guy is a good recruiter and has been for awhile, I think he needed some time to get reacquainted with the College game a bit.
He has a live arm and can move the pocket, he’s good.
I don't know what the O/U should be on how many times I call him Cade McNown, but I'd take the over regardless.
If he has the college success of Cade McNown mixed with Gerry McNamera, we are in bidness.
Nice offer sheet..
Did you say Tennessee whiskey???

Sweet as strawberry wine
I'm starting to get a good feeling about this class. It seems like some of the changes we made will be for the better. I think giving Partridge a bigger role in recruiting will just the shot in the arm we need on the recruiting trail.
I'll wait to see what Dobbs does and see if we let Herron get away to judge the recruiting class. So far seems decent.

"So far seems decent"
#5 ranked class in 2019
O' let do it O' let do it
Excellent. I was just wondering a couple days ago on who our QB was going to be and he seemed to be most likely option and one that I was hoping works in our favor. Kind of awkward that Tyson is on campus for Junior day now
It probably isn't that awkward at all. I'm sure JH told Tyson that the plan was to take two QBs.
Should take two qbs this year with Doyle decommitting and Milton looking like a boom or bust guy.
the local QB will be #2 in the class
With such a small class and no future QB graduating anytime soon, I'd be okay with taking just one and getting 2 next year. We have 4 right now (Shea, Peters, McCaffrey, and Milton). McNamara makes 5 and the only one with a chance to leave is Shea and thats only if he he has a monster year (championship basically).
I think I read that somewhere. Also Peters could leave after this year if he is on track to graduate in 3+ as an EE but I would only see that if he is cearly behind McCaffrey at the end of the season.

if he plays awesome for us.
