Harbaugh working HS Chain Gang

Submitted by MrBrightside on
Because Harbaugh even scouts high school games like a rock star, he followed up the homecoming queen announcement from last night by working the chain-gang today. I speculate that he saw more defense from the sideline today than Dantonio did. But in Dantonio's defense, Northwestern did put up 7 points at home against Illinois State--who apparently has a football team. http://www.espn.com/blog/pac12/post/_/id/104956/jim-harbaugh-is-on-chai…

Berts impersonation of Harbaugh?  Sheesh, and people call Harbaugh creepy. That's as creepy as Belly Lagosi. I know my kids would run from him. The thing is, my kids are in their early 20's but they will forever be my kids.

You can see the video after clicking the link at the bottom of the op post. While I am sure I will get the terminology wrong, the chain gang is the three guys who mark the 10 yards from where the ball is on first down to 10 yards from there, connected by a chain. The thing they bring out to measure if the ball is close to a first down. Harbaugh was shown with the spot of the ball / down marker. Pretty smart, he gets to be right on the sidelines with the players, though I am not sure if he would have been able to do that anyway
