In general I agree, whenever a vendor brings donuts into my office the filled ones either get eaten last or tossed out.

However I still like Pacskis.  Since they are more solid than a typical jelly donut the ratio works out better IMO.

My point is that it shouldn't matter what's at the party.  You have what they're offering or you leave and don't have anything.  Unless you're a dick who just sits in the corner complaining.  Sort of like your posts on this thread.  Try not to be so negative.

Happy Paczki Day. I love them, I think they're deliciious.

Paczki are awesome.

I picked up 3 dozen from New Palace Bakery on Sunday, since I knew I wouldn't have time this morning.  This is the first year in over a decade that I didn't wake up in the middle of the night to go get them.  Feels weird.  Also, if you think the jelly donuts Kroger, Meijer, or any bakery with a native English speaker at the counter sells are Paczki, you are mistaken.

Although like most things, homemade is best.  RIP ciocia Bronia.

I’m in Colorado, nobody knows what I’m talking about when trying to explain.

This reminds me of the time I try to tell people here what cider mills are in MI.

Had one from Dinkel’s Bakery in Chicago on Sunday. It’s an old German (not Polish) bakery, but they know what they’re doing when it comes to pastries. Good stuff!

generally have opinions about certain food items that they do or don't care for, but I do have to ask, did you have any really bad life experiences involving Pacski?  Your hatred for this one particular item seems extreme.  To go as far as to deny any food item its very identity.  That is some pretty heavy stuff.
