Halftime is the CFP rankings reveal.

Bridges has made some nice plays on D (3 blocks) and has 2 3's, but besides that has been very quiet.

Jaren Jackson, 5 star freshman, has easily been the best player for MSU. Very impressive so far.

MSU looks better than I would have guessed. There is a stark contrast between how we look compared to them right now. I will say this though: Charles Matthews can hold his own with any of these guys.

I hate watching teams like this play eachother as it's inevitable that I will subconsciously begin rooting for one of these horrific programs to win and it will make me feel dirty for the rest of the day.

Jackson on Sparty is a beast. Bridges will get his and Ward will be a horse while making errors and fouling. Winston a nice "complementary" player as well to the other guys. But this Jackson kid is a new dimension to Izzo though that will make them a very tough out.

I will say that as a general rule, I find the overall quality of college basketball announcing to be much higher than the quality of college football announcing.

And that should clinch it for Duke. Did it all with the #1 recruit only playing 10 minutes due to injury (and he had 4 points, 6 rebounds-5 offensive in those minutes).

What a game by Grayson Allen. He looked like a stud.

Minutes of UK vs KU and they are on another level. Don’t get me wrong, wouldn’t trade Coach B for anyone, but the talent on these two teams is astounding. If either team loses a game they should be ashamed, it’s an embarrassment of riches.

Watched the nightcap and was very impressed with noth teams. Kansas held out one of their highly touted freshman and still managed to win the game thanks to some great offensive rebounding. Kansas is tough to matchup against bc they go with 4 guards and a legit center. All of the KU guards can shoot and hit threes so it’s fun to watch them. The issue I see for Kansas this year is that they lack depth. Only played7 guys tonight. Could hurt them down the stretch. As for Kentucky, they are extremely young again (no surprise), extremely athletic, and extremely large. By seasons end they’re going to be really good on defense and transition bc of their athleticism and speed. Will be a fun season of basketball.
