Big 10 Refs are bad and they should feel bad

Submitted by Rdog on

Article on the many missed calls and how some Georgia fans feel like the game was fixed.  Where have a I heard something like this happening before??

What makes it even worse is that these were supposed to be the best refs from the Big10-   and maybe they were.   As I was watching the game I saw a lot of missed calls and they did seem to be mostly Alabama penalties that were missed.

...the big 10 refs are biased and when they all get together to play pinochle on their night off, they discuss their mutual disdain for Jim Harbaugh and cackle with glee with how few offensive holding penalties they called on Michigan's opponents.

But of course, I'm biased.

Every B1G official sucks. Football, basketball, hockey or tennis. Every single one of those worthless, buckeye-loving scum, suck. They should all be fired and the MHSAA refs should take over.

I have no idea what they would be biased about. If anything, you would think they would want a new champion or to at least punish all those Roy Moore voters of Alabama.

The special teams guy who punched a georgia player in the helmet and then tried to start a fight on his own sidelines. I know they got 15 yards off of that, but if that was Michigan the guy would be off the team and would have been ejected when he punched a player in the helmet.

Would be pissed if I was a Georgia fan.  Pretty sad that in a national championship game they let a blatant facemask penalty go.  Also, missed the false start on the Georgia blocked punt.  The head ref even said first down alabama when it was 3rd and long.  Pretty bad.

When the refs, on the same play miss a false start and call a phantom offsides that nullifies a blocked punt and then followed it up with a missed facemask penalty in the course of a minute all in favor of Bama I knew the fix was in.  Poor Georgia, they got screwed (they also turtled and choked the game away).

An intellectual person and say,”those calls didn’t affect the outcome!” Just be thankful that you don’t work for that person! Some people have been so dumbfounded and disengaged for so long they believe that! I refuse to argue with the person that says,”I’ve heard that here so many times before!” Those people have issues and they cannot be helped. Even the referees admit that they’ve messed up and then the same Jerkoffs will say,”but that’s life!” Until it actually hits them in the face! One day they’ll be on the wrong side of a ruling and they’ll just say,”oh well throw away the key!” Yeah right! Passive, aggressive, pessimistic, BULL$!?)

that the 2 awful calls in the 1st half with the bogus offsides call on the blocked punt and then a few plays later the blatant missed face mask (non)call were game changing calls.

If the blocked punt was allowed as it should have been, Georgia had momentum at the time and could have had a 16-0 or 20-0 lead at half time and most likely have changed the outcome and OT would never had happened.

In other words, B1G officials suck and so does Delaney, I hate those mother fuckers!!!!!!!

Najee Harris was offside by a good margin on the last TD in regulation for sure. Watch the tape! I figured big 10 refs were crooked tbh, I think calling them just bad refs overall would be a compliment compared to my thoughts.

The zebras are too involved or not at all. The impact is dictating the games and outcomes when it should be decided by the teams. Hell of a game last night...officiating, not so much. Go Blue!

Carl Paganelli, former Probation officer for the federal government started out doing h.s. in the OK Conferences. Got called in from the stands one Saturday during a UM vs. MSU game- televised about 25 years ago -  when one of the officials went down. He's in the NFL now and it would not matter anyhow. He's been retired from the Gov't for awhile. But he said, when he was doing the GLIAC that the officiating in that league, as a whole, was vastly superior to what was then the Big Ten. Carl was a damn nice guy and official as well.

In the span of 7 seconds, that was the biggest bone I have ever seen from an officatitng crew. The poke out was either Michigan ball or a reach in foul - NOT PURUE'S BALL. Then the foul against Moe was even worse - they never called that all game. Gift to Purdue. BIG TEN OFFICIATING - YOU SUCK.
