Thing is, the SEC network wasn't wrong. It means so much to SEC country that they're willing to blatantly violate rules and suppress competition. Watching them fail is just a beautiful thing. Like the 2006 ND game that sunk Brady Quinn's Heisman campaign.

Honestly it's kinda lame they're forced to hold up B1G signs.  They're representing themselves and UofM, not a confernece and group of schools/teams.  As always, eff Delaney.

Someone had to say it. I actually prefer for the Big Ten to do poorly -- not because I self-defeatingly wish to diminish Michigan's SOS or "accomplishment prestige" but because I believe the zero sum nature of recruiting weighs much more heavily than those factors. Besides, this mindset is fully reciprocated by the average Big Ten fan when the topic is broached of whether it is desirable for Michigan to succeed. As an aside: Is that petty? Of course. But whereas it is healthy to strive to "be better than that," it's also healthy to be perfectly comfortable with my humanity even when I fall short. In that sense, "pettiness" is like other negatively felt words like "sensitivity," which aren't intrinsically negative. Instead it's our attitude about the word (and what that attitude tells us about us) that is.

If the Big Ten is crap then its games don't get national attention and the national recruits don't want to go to Big Ten schools, even the best of the bad ones.  Players want to be on TV, with the biggest audience possible.  Being the best team in a bad conference would suck.  I'd rather go 50-50 against a strong OSU in games that command national attention than go 100% in games against a weak OSU in games that no one cares about.

Besides, THIS is the mindset that is fully reciprocated by the average Big Ten fan when the topic is broached.of whether it is desirable for Michigan to succeed.  I don't think many Buckeyes want Michigan to win the national championship, but I think they'd be delighted to see two Big Ten teams in the Final Four.

Kinda lame that you think they would be forced to hold up B1G signs when they had just won the BTT. I swear people finding shit to be outraged about when there isnt any outrage to be found by logical, critically thinking people is destroying American culture. Shut your whiny ass up.

sure they are forced to hold up the signs. The represent themselve and UM first, but also the conference. If the SEC was there trust me they would be making all kinds of noise and letting everyone know they are from the SEC conference.

Love being able to throw shade towards them.

It also means more when the B1G gave sparty that toilet paper soft schedule that led to them winning the league. So maybe the B1G should keep its head down and be grateful we’ve papered over that embarrassment with our success

Hey Big Ten, if you are going to brag on us when it suits your purpose, then stop screwing us with incompetent showboating referees.

It's John Beilein fergodsake.  You should always give him the benefit of the doubt.

He would never let his teams committ an actual foul.
