"The Americans"

I've seen the show discussed on this forum many times and have a feeling that a scene tonight may be received well here.  Go Blue!

Got it on my DVR to watch tomorrow and can't wait to look for that. I'd love to see maybe my favorite character Oleg maybe rocking a #4 Harbaugh jersey since currently it's set in the year where Harbaugh was the starting QB.

this episode felt like it was on fast forward, with Kimmy, Martha, and Glass's widow..Shit is about to get real. I also appreciated the fact that Henry had more than 5 words in an episode. for once. And damn if every scene with Burov and his family doesn't just hit me right in the feels. God I miss Russia.

Just started this series. Not quite done with season 1. Does the gratuitous sex slow down? I'm no prude but it's hard to just casually sit there with the wife whilst people are boning on tv and it seems to happen once or twice an episode. If that's the story, fine. I just don't think it needs to be graphically depicted. Cheapens the show IMHO. Same reason I can't get into GoT. Other than that, it's really good.

The Americans doesn't use sex well. It tends to be pretty awkward. But I guess that's one of the limitations of being on a standard cable channel - it's tough to have a scene feel natural when people are strategically covering themselves with sheets or whatever.

GoT is more graphic, but also uses "sexposition" to keep you interested while it goes over some of the background story and plot development. I don't have a problem with the sex in GoT.

And this is just me, but I have no idea why it would be awkward to watch a sex scene with your wife around.
