2017 Michigan Football Ticket Mini-Pack Reminder
I'm quite surprised that nobody has posted a reminder yet this week on the MGoBoard that NOW is the time to buy 3- and 4-game mini-packs of Michigan Football Tickets for the 2017 season. Ticket sales started yesterday at 8:30 am for donors with 200+ points; continued today for donors with 75+ points, and will continue tomorrow at 8:30 for anyone with 1 donor point of more. Finally, those who are pointless but are members of the "digital community" can buy starting Friday at 8:30.
Here's the link for anyone who feel a sudden urge to secure seats at Michigan Stadium:

Although we've had our four season tickets in the same location since 1980 (and increased that to 6 seats several years ago), we bought a 3-pack of 4 tickets early today for these games: Air Force, MSU, and Minnesota. With only 6 home games this season instead of the usual 7 (or 8 games like last season), our group figured it was best to secure some extras now to take care of the usual assortment of family and friends who normally take in a game or two with us each season.
The website explains it more fully than I will attempt to here, but these are the basics:
3- and 4-game packages are available with the following important guideline: you can choose :
(1) game from either vs. MSU or OSU
(1) game from either vs. Rutgers or Minnesota
(1) or (2) games from either or both Cincinnati and/or Air Force
There's also a Family Pack available for only the Air Force game, with a minimum purchase requirement of 4 end zone tickets, for $240 (which includes a hot dog and soft drink with each ticket).
With ticket availablity this season very limited, this might be the best time to buy. According to the Athletic Ticket Office, there was a 99% renewal rate this year for season ticket holders AND 93000 tickets have already been purchased or set aside for expected student demand.
Single-game tickets can't be purchased until mid-July and few (if any) tickets will still be available then for the Staee and OSU games. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of the the Laws of Supply and Demand (and ticket resale websites and/or scalpers) if you want in The Big House this season.
I thought I was going to get tickets tomorrow, but I guess not. Note this message from the site.
Group A: Michigan State or Ohio State
Group B: Rutgers (Minnesota pack tickets sold out)
Group C: Cincinnati and/or Air Force
Go Blue Pack tickets are very limited. If unable to obtain seats, only stranded single tickets remain. Choose quantity of '1' to search.
were already sold out. Thanks for that update.
OTOH, I'm not all that surprised----who would make the Rutgers game their choice over seeing the Battle for The Little Brown Jug (not to mention Harbaugh vs. Fleck) even with the Rutgers game being Homecoming weekend?
As it is, we already found it difficult at 9am today to secure 4 seats together for the Gopher game when trying to combine it with 4 tickets for each of MSU and Air Force.
Unless I am misreading things, tickets are in short supply.

I didn't get my request for an additional season ticket this year.
OSU won't make it to public, there will probably be some nosebleeds for MSU
There are no nosebleeds in that stadium. Best seats I have ever had were on the 45 yd line about 4 rows from the top. You could see everything.
I may have to take in my Michigan game on the road at IU again.
