T FORCE!!!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:00 PM ^
I'd say a hero in the making, but I think he's made it already!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:02 PM ^
It's only been two games, but I'm already loving the newest generation of Michigan football.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:03 PM ^
i love those damned muppets!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:05 PM ^
YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:07 PM ^
Hail to the Victors Valiant. After enduring a 3-9 season and all the hate and criticism, the faithful's patience has paid off. Go Blue!!!!!!!!!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:07 PM ^
Welcome back muppets...we've missed you. GO BLUE!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:07 PM ^
Those who stayed ARE...
September 12th, 2009 at 8:11 PM ^
I can't believe I just went online with the sole purpose of hoping to see singing muppets. Thank you for obliging Brian.
Go Blue!

"Tour de Forcier"
... love it.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:17 PM ^
I was just going to post this but you beat me to it. The Power of the Forcier is strong. muhahaha. I'm drunk with glee right now (and crown royal but whatever).
September 12th, 2009 at 8:15 PM ^
Quick, somebody pinch me. Fukin' A.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:16 PM ^
It has been a long year for me professionally and I was in the precarious position of looking to UM football for encouragement. Well, the team has delivered!
My mom called knowing how happy I would be after the big win.
What a feeling to know you have a QB who can make the plays when the game is on the line. To watch him win like that was sweet.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:18 PM ^
I feel you on the "long year" professionally.
Is it wrong that I feel encouraged by this, as in if U-M could come back, maybe I can find a job? They are completely unrelated, and yet ...
September 12th, 2009 at 8:18 PM ^
And it's coming for college football! If you're not ALL IN, then get the hell out. God Bless Rich Rodriguez and his cotton pickin' maize and blue heart!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:40 PM ^
Peanut Butter Jelly+Muppets+Capt Front Butt+Tater=I'm too pumped to drink!
Is this for real?
September 13th, 2009 at 12:18 AM ^
Without a doubt
September 12th, 2009 at 8:18 PM ^
Media love forthcoming...Millen was a huge fan during the broadcast.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:19 PM ^
This has taken my joy to an even higher level. Kudos, Brian
September 12th, 2009 at 8:19 PM ^
Bliss, unspeakable bliss. Ladies and gentlemen, we are floating in space.
The Drew Tate comparisons shoot too low. How about Drew Brees? Hell, how about John Elway?
September 12th, 2009 at 8:21 PM ^
How about that Joe Montana reference made during the broadcast?
September 12th, 2009 at 8:22 PM ^
Drink,
check!
be merry,
big check!
spawn a new generation.
The wife is three days past her due date. I'm so close to hitting the trifecta!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:29 PM ^
Is it a boy? Because you could name him Tate.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:32 PM ^
We did find out, she's a girl, and I'm still naming her Tate!!!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:44 PM ^
And, you must have a Way Back Machine. After the victory, you used the Way Back Machine to go back a few days (weeks?) and spawn a new generation.
Well played, well played.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:26 PM ^
I am unreasonably happy about this.
And while there are certainly things that need improvement, this game was a glimpse of the future. And that future is GRAND.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:28 PM ^
Happy Happy Day!!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:38 PM ^
Man that was fun. Without 3-9 that would have not been nearly as cool.
September 12th, 2009 at 8:41 PM ^
You're really f*cking Tate. Can we get Rilo Kiley to do a Michigan Remix?
September 12th, 2009 at 8:43 PM ^
Not seeing any Muppets Brian! Internet down in house have only iphone but why dont I see it?
MUST DANCE!!!!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:45 PM ^
Woohoo! Told a friend that U-M wouldn't win if Clausen had 60%+ completion percentage. His total? 59.5%. GREAT win.
THE POWER OF TATE COMPELS YOU! THE POWER OF TATE COMPELS YOU!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:47 PM ^
Tate was fantstic. This game is a big big win bigger than I thought it would be. ND is a good team, probably should have won, but we pulled it out.
I feel great for all the Students on this blog who suffered thru last season. Sweet redemption, would love to be young and in AA tonight.
What a great venue for the recruits, could not have been better.
September 12th, 2009 at 10:07 PM ^
"Down 34-31 and at the Michigan 42 with 2:13 left, the true freshman's performance on the game-winning drive was real and it was spectacular."
Yes, like the boobs of the chick from Desperate Housewives, Forcier is REAL AND SPECTACULAR!
September 12th, 2009 at 8:54 PM ^
ND is far better than I thought and Weiss called a good game overall. ND is stacked with talent on both sides of the ball. They "should" have won because they've been playing together longer with a steadier system, but RR's group was better prepared and better coached.
Another encouraging point is that Michigan's defense has gone up against two of the top QB's in the country its first two weeks. As Michigan gets more experience they'll play better as the year goes on.
Go Blue!!!

MUPPETS
September 12th, 2009 at 9:02 PM ^
I can't recall the last time we actually outplayed an equal (or even better in this case) opponent so early in the season.
September 13th, 2009 at 11:40 AM ^
Very true indeed. The only memories I have are of us playing DOWN to our opponent. Very few in the last 5 years of us playing UP.
EDIT: It is a very welcome change....GO BLUE!
September 13th, 2009 at 8:36 PM ^
Yeah, that's true. These kids are hungry. It's exactly what was missing during the end of the Carr administration. They want to win, and they are going to make it happen for themselves.
Man. What a game!
September 12th, 2009 at 9:10 PM ^
Hats off to Notre Dame, they played a great game. I watched the game in an irish pub and was the only boisterous Michigan fan in attendance.
Just awesome win for the team, this was SO MUCH MORE than just the second game, and the second win. . . it was about the direction of the program, Rich Rod, and respect for the Wolverines.
Every recruit in attendance sure as hell better commit.
I drank their irish whiskey, but they feared my rusty nails!
September 12th, 2009 at 9:19 PM ^
the recruits have gotta love a game and atmosphere like that game.
SO MUCH WIN
September 12th, 2009 at 9:13 PM ^
Can we have a new "Sometimes when you're on" video, but with Western and ND clips? Please?
September 14th, 2009 at 9:31 PM ^
Tate jukes Darius out of his jock and runs 30 yards for the TD.
September 12th, 2009 at 9:35 PM ^
To every last damn one of ya!!!!!!!!!!! Today, my friends, has been our day. GO BLUE!
September 12th, 2009 at 9:51 PM ^
It matters not the size of Weissa the Hutt. Strong with this one is the Forcier.
WOO HOO! GO BLUE!!!
So happy I am!
September 12th, 2009 at 9:54 PM ^
And it made it so much better to hear Beano Cook almost crying on the radio about how "devastating" this was for nd. Go Blue!! Never seen a greater game at the Big House.
September 12th, 2009 at 10:04 PM ^
This feeling is great! Don't count Michigan out! More wins to come!! I wonder what would have happen if Hemingway had played? Stonum killed that kick off return!!!! Minor was wonderful!! Forcier is the QB!!! I already have his jersey number!!! Go home ND!!
September 12th, 2009 at 10:11 PM ^
For the next game, I hope Denard gets a few more reps throwing the ball since it isn't a huge opponent. Because if anything happens to Tate *knock on wood*, then Denard is our man.
