CB Run for Michigan for Jalen Wilson / DJ Carton
Subject of the front page, there is a run on both of these players for Michigan today. Four each, and some are VIP, but given the prediction timeline it looks like they're all Michigan.
Go to the link below and look under the Crystal Ball Predictions section on the right. Includes Sam Webb and some other legit-seeming prognosticators.

I thought Kentucky and Louisville and a few other teams were the only ones fortunate enough to have the problem of worrying about cap space.
In all seriousness though, it would be cool to see us win out for someone over a team like Kansas basketball though. If your team is saything that same thing but regarding Kansas football, well.....that's different....and sad.
Also, as Brian suggested on the FP, there's a decent chance someone makes a leap to serious NBA prospect (not naming potential names, but one of them rhymes with Riordan Cool) and takes off.
But I think the chances of a PG transfer prior to the 19-20 school year are extremely high regardless. That's not a knock against any of the guys on the roster--there's a non-zero chance that all three are good enough to be starting PGs in a power five conference by 2019, and if that's the case, someone who isn't getting minutes is probably best-served going somewhere else to get on the floor.
As for a PG transfer, I think it would have to be Brooks if he finished third.
It's tough for freshmen to do much as PGs for John Beilein, so if DeJulius finishes third, he'd be crazy to transfer after just one year. That almost has to be the expectation for him.
He'd still be looking at being the backup after just one more year and the starter his senior year, and that's if he didn't move ahead of Brooks his 2nd or 3rd years, which is easily possible after he learns the offense. Could only see him transferring if he lost out to a younger guy down the road.
But yeah, I'd be absolutely shocked if Matthews came back for a fifth year. That's getting way too old by NBA standards. He'd have a degree. Best thing for him would be to start his career. Only exception is if he got hurt and needed a year to prove his health before he could get signed by a G League/European Club because he's already there at his point.

Too far?
Maizen is the type who drinks water constantly so that he always has enough urine to piss in everybody's corn flakes.
Maizen is the type of guy who doesn't want his lady rubbing her button during sex because his missionary, soon-to-be-premature jack-hammering "should be enough for her."
OK...we've now gone too far.
We did it everyone!

just yay!
Michigan basketball = happiness for years to come.
I'm going to be skeptical, especially about Wilson, until he actually commits, and maintain some until there's a faxed LOI on file.
Nothing against the kid, and I won't hold it against him if things go this way, but if Kansas is on the table, we're competing on a different playing field.
* different paying field
to text something along these lines to my bro-in-law, an earnest Kansas grad and season ticket holder.
1) these aren't top10 5 star one-and-done's like Jaylen Brown and Mo Bamba that didn't have to worry about developing. Those guys pretty much just want to not get hurt and stay in the lottery. These guys (Wilson and Carton) do need to develop and play a couple years to get to the NBA. And because of that, they probably aren't going to garner the kind of pay (from agents or whereever) such that the paying field is that different.
2) I have to think our recent success has us closer to Kansas in terms of being able to offer high likelihood of winning while they're here as well. A sweet 16, then a title game run (second in six years) has to move the recruiting needle, right? RIGHT? (**remembers that's what everyone said in 2014 too**).
It's going to be hard for me to believe it's happening until I hear they've signed a LOI. I've seen us lose these guys to blue bloods at the last second too often
In addition to what Beilein has proven for himself and Michigan, I do think schools have already started to clean up their act in recruiting due to the FBI investigation. Not saying it is all suddenly clean, but I doubt the money is flowing as freely from Adidas. I would also bet the AAU coaches are pulling back some of their pressure as well because they don't have as big a carrot to offer anymore from the shoe companies.
If this is true, that all helps Michigan in addition to the hard work the coaching staff is doing.
As in cash is green.
But we're re-establishing (or just establishing) ourselves as a blue blood program now, too. Just one that doesn't recruit dirty.
We have a limited number of years with Beilein left. I predict the best stretch in the history of Mihcigan basketball.
It's going to be fun!
Beilein is going to leave here with having set such a high bar for the next sap that takes the job.
Wilson is at 88% M
Carlton is 71%.
The winning effect
Brian Snow also stated that they expect Carton to get a 5th star in the next update.
